Knecht

Plus if you disagree with me, that's cool and you may be right. But, this is not anything I want to argue with you about. I'll take the "L", but the first time I see or hear him on a new commercial, I'm changing it to a "W"
Never said he wouldn’t get opportunities, just don’t think he’s going to “make a killing”, he doesn’t really have the leverage needed for that.

It didn’t seem like you really got it the first time 🤣

If you’re going to have a bad take and then be dismissive when you’re called out on it, don’t be shocked when you get called out more than once.
I’ll do a whole lot of what I want. Pretend you’re giving me permission.

I said it before tonight's game, Knecht will be all-SEC and 2nd team All-America this year. I know it's risky to predict after exhibition games, but I just have a feeling he's gonna be a big difference maker.

@Dallasbowlin , are you okay ? You haven't posted once, during and after the Mich. St. game or tonight's L-R game. That's rare. Maybe you are just trick or treating ? If not, I need to hear from you or I'm going to start getting worried

Expecting an All-American performance out of him seems risky. If he’s one of the 10 best players in the country this year, we’ll make a final four. That’s a lot to put on his shoulders, but he’s definitely flashed some things to be excited about.

What WE expect or predict is risk free…affects nothing.

Sure. You say that all the time. I know where you stand.

But expecting him to be an All-American and putting that narrative out there just invites a bunch of mouth breathers to come on this board and create threads like the title “JJJ” and how really Knecht was a waste of roster space if he doesn’t live up to something unrealistic. Or something like that. Seen this narrative too often.

And ultimately how does that REALLY affect events in the program? What WE expect or don’t expect a factor in how good Knecht performs on the court? Not a damn iota. I say it all the time because it keeps being reality all the time. WE have no effect with what we spout on here. It’s background noise that has never made a three pointer, created a steal, nabbed a rebound or delivered a game winning assist.

I’m under no illusion that the actual words on here affect the outcome of a game itself. That wasn’t even my point.

If he is of the 5 best players isn't guarantee of a final four. The NCAA is a one and done crap shoot. Success in it isn't necessarily indicative of the best teams.

I think Joe Milton is doing pretty well, and Knecht is very quickly becoming a household name that fans see as something unique. Businesses like situations like the Knecht situation. It’s relatable to us and we want to buy their cookies, t-shirts, and donuts, heck, maybe even their houses.
