'24 LA DL Dominick McKinley (LSU commit)

It's the epitome of legend status.

Based off of 247 rankings he wasn't top 25 in the SEC this in 2023, 2022, or 2021. He was one of the top Recruiters in the country and 2nd in 2020. He's signed some great players but he's not an all time recruiter. I'm glad he's a coach here and he's signed some great players over the last 20 years.

Don't know about you guys but I'm feeling pretty good here

Also:
McKinley demanded a double team at times during inside run, but when it came to individual drills, there was no interior offensive lineman that matched up with him. He is freaky for his size. He has a natural motion to himself and carries his weight very well. He is violent with his hands and just pushes around guys on the interior.

Anyone saying Garner isn’t one of the all time best at recruiting in this conference doesn’t have a clue.

Exactly this.

Every head coach in this conference right now would say otherwise and that’s all that needs to be said about it.
Exactly. Can guarantee if Tray Scott were to leave UGA, or Bama needs to replace their DLine coach, Kirby and Saban would kick the tires on Garner if we were to let him walk.

No telling how many people he’s told “No thanks” since he’s been back at UT.

hes an all time recruiter.

Brian Hartline has been credited in the same number of 5* recruitments as Gardner and he's coached since 2018. Gardner is great at what he does but this board acts like he shows up and it's a done deal

Yeah I think he’s a better coach more so than an ace recruiter. I think you can look at his strategy and see Heup likes strong developers.

Although he does have a habit of getting in on a guy late no one expected.

man, Gardner closed dudes before stars were a thing. not condescending, just a reminder.

I think UT fans have a slightly inflated view of Garner as a recruiter in the past because he always seemed to steal recruits that were considering UT. That created a persona. He has always been a really good recruiter but maybe not what UT fans invented in their head.

Oh, ok...I see now. I was about to make fun of you, laugh at you; maybe even get a little concerned about whatever the hell it is you're smoking. My bad.

You're talking about someone named, Gardner. You may be right...he may not be able to recruit, I have no clue. I was talking about Rodney GARNER.

How's anyone supposed to take you serious, man...whenever you can't even keep people's real names straight? GTFOH.
