Including Tennessee. In the last six months, two players have transferred out and a third opted to leave early. Students (not just students athletes) change schools for a variety of reasons. It is neither good nor bad. It is simply the way of the world. At the end of the day, don't we want every young women to find the right fit for her college experience?

Transfers are popular yes... but I think the previous poster was talking about leaving because you were recruited over.

Going back to last year, I thought she would be a sure get for us..."THINGS HAPPEN FOR A REASON"...best of luck to her...she's a winner, but our time is "NEXT"...GO LVFL!!!

So do we have a shot at any of the remaining kids? Egbo, Williams, Nelson-Ododa? I know the other top 15 kid (Engstler) is only considering Rutgers, Syracuse, Purdue, OSU and Miami.

This is a bit of a bummer. I really don't see us landing Williams. Not sure about Egbo or N-O...

I think the only recruit we realistic have a chance of landing is Burrell. I don't think Williams was ever coming to Tennessee and Nelson-Ododa never had Tennessee in her top 5.

Another year of putting all your eggs in one basket... What have we had two visits????? Another said she would visit but committed before her visit!! Maybe Burelle will visit??? We do have a couple of nice recruits in Jasmine and Collins. Hope we get something to go with them ??? 🤔

We literally lead for DeCosta her entire recruitment. Of course in grand fashion she ditches at the last second. Typical of being a UT fan in pretty much every sport, TBH.

I know everything seems to be a little humdrum right now, but lets not forget...we do have a pretty good nucleus on the hill right now, and with next year addition of at least Jaz, Mimi & still OTHERS, we are looking pretty good...There are a few bumps in the road on the way back to the TOP, but I think we are looking pretty good and have a few hidden GEMS in store...GO LVFL

If we are brutally honest with ourselves what has our program done for the last several years? What reason do we have to think we will compete on an elite top 5 basis? The kids have to see it too.

Rae Burrell will fit in well if she ends up being our last 2018 signee.

I think we are likely to add a JUCO recruit or two. Both Reaves and Gordon have much better JUCO connections than past assistant coaches so I think it will help. There is a 6'5 post at Gulf Coast I believe is a target along with some other very good players.

DeCosta was a strong lean for Tennessee and Louisville earlier on. Baylor visit was almost cancelled from what I heard. Kimmy pulled off a miracle.

Massengill and Collins are two excellent recruits that many other top programs would've loved to get. UConn, Ohio State have zero recruits for this class so far and there a number of other big time programs with far less success in 2017 and 2018 so far compared to Tennessee.

Wrong one transferred, one was thrown out and the other quit because the player was thrown out. So one transfer for reasons still unknown.
Nothing like the over recruiting that several schools are doing then forcing players to leave so they can recruit some more.

Yes I agree! We will be just fine! We have 2 of the best scouts/eyes when it comes to discovering Juco Talent!

Adding Burrell to Collins, & Massengill (and who knows anything can happen so there is still time to get Williams to pick UT)

I really like Dominique Banks (The 6’5” JUCO Post from Gulf Coast State) she’s a shot blocker/rebounder and a team first player! She would have 3 years of eligibility left (this is her first year at Gulf Coast State)

There are also 2 Top 60 Post available 6’6” Stephanie Soares (who is from Texas where we need to start grabbing talent from as many of those young ladies don’t leave Texas) & 6’5” Semaj Smith I wonder is there any interest there?

Juco usually has at least 10 to 20 players that can help a team immediately. We can get by with one more player in this class. I would hope we could find a center that could help in the post with KK and Green. I would also like a multi position wing player like Burrell. We'll see how it goes we have two excellent players coming in were in great shape and expect we'll see another player or two join this class.

Yes and it would not surprise me if coaches on the recruiting trail pointed out UT is no longer an elite program. But we can turn that around with solid play and win the games we are suppose to win. Also, go for some players ranked in mid range. It is nice to have mcdonalds all americans, but not really necessary.

We definitely have the kids to be a top five program and compete with anyone in WCCB. We still have to see if we have enough coaching to get these players to the elite level. Were one of the few teams that will have six top 20 players on the roster and a JUCO player that could be a top 20 player as well. We have two more top 20 players coming in next season.
We'll see what Holly can do excuses are getting unacceptable. This season and the next should be good ones. I don't see how we win less than 25 games this season. If we don't won't be about talent it will definitely be about coaching.

A great job by Kim Mulkey in recruiting again this season. She definitely has the talent and the BS to sway a player to her program. Who could recruit three top players to the same position not many coaches could do that.

Exactly and after the treatment of the best player to ever play at her program and that players decision to never return to the University (as of right now) and her never speaking highly of the University and adding that to Mulkey views about the sex scandals at Baylor, I don't see how any parent would send their daughter to play for her, but that is just me.

We not even gonna talked about the time she said on National TV Geno can kiss/smack her behind and followed it up by allowing him to smack her behind smdh
