Playing poorly means your not trying. We were definitely trying could not hit their pitcher today and she came into the game with a 1.11 era so no one has really hit her that much this season.

Loss today is meaningless. Championship goes through next two series. Win them both and you stand a better than even shot of winning the SEC regular season.

It was almost like the Weeklys wanted the streak to end before UF-- all that tinkering with the lineup and playing the bench.

I think 3 and 3 gets us second or third in the league. Depends on what A&M does in their next series and if we can get a game against Florida. If that happens we could be playing them for second place.

They aren't a bad team. They aren't nearly as good as Florida and aren't as good as A&M, though. Walljapser is a good ... not great ... pitcher. We made her look elite today. Sorry but our hitters laid total eggs today. This was an entirely sweepable series. Not mad at the team, just don't understand why people are seemingly acting like the offense didn't play like crap today when they clearly did.

Our bench is not bad at all....some girls over there could start at other SEC schools....but they wanted to be at Tennessee and work hard every day...Like Karen said she and Ralph always try and get them some playing time when they can

Naw, you're just clearly putting YOUR definition of "playing poorly" out there and putting it as fact. And your definition is a dumb one. Playing poorly is just that ... playing poorly. Nobody said *anything* about effort.

You can play as hard as you can and play like crap. Our basketball team should've proven that by now.

Agree! I was really hoping Geer could get her bat going today. We really need some production out of her.

Texas A&M won today to move a game ahead of Tennessee in the loss column, but that's okay because Tennessee can get that back by winning the series against Texas A&M. I think it was critical that Auburn get beat at least once by South Carolina which did happen today. That means Auburn remains 2 games back behind Tennessee in the loss column.

To get a top 8 National seed Tennessee needs to finish in the top three of the SEC. It is critical that Auburn and Alabama remain behind them in the standings.

No they didn't....LSU made some fine defensive plays on a few of those balls....No one is nearly as good as Florida except maybe FSU and Arizona

as "lackluster." Actually, that is worse than lackluster. Arnold was great but one hit? Does not bode well for the florida series. And it is still pretty obvious to me that Ralph should have have McClain stealing. Easily worth the risk.

And curious to know what he suddenly puts Morrison in the lineup. That was odd. Why not Weimer? Oh,well....Hats off to the team for its great winning streak.

My point was ... and try to keep up, please ... our next two opponents are Florida and A&M. That's why I brought them up. FSU and Arizona are irrelevant to this discussion. My point was we need to take care of business in our more winnable games. LSU on the road is easier than A&M on the road and Florida at home.

I thought we played an excellent game sometimes pitching beats hitting. We got runners in scoring position three times couldn't get the key hit. It happens thought overall we played well just lost.
