Laws and constitutions everywhere are being violated. And while most of the discussion about this pandemic is ‘when will the public health emergency subside,’ and ‘when will the economy go back to normal,’ there’s hardly any discussion about “When will our freedoms be restored?”

It’s hard to imagine they’re going to stop the GPS tracking, the facial recognition, the criminal ‘fake news’ penalties, and the countless other ‘emergency measures’ anytime soon.

Think about it– 9/11 was nearly two decades ago and we’re still dealing with the freedom-eroding consequences of that event.

So we have to be honest with ourselves about this pandemic– the longer these freedoms are restricted, the more unlikely they’ll ever be restored.

While the Holy Spirit is leading me to dress up in my Easter best and set on my couch for Easter services tomorrow, I’m not going to question that The Spirit might be leading other (with God’s hand of protection covering them) to attend services in person...we see in the Book of Daniel where God expects His children to obey Him.

Trump Threatens Countries With Visa Sanctions If They Stop Accepting Deported Citizens

President Donald Trump is threatening to withhold visas from countries that refuse to accept deported citizens from the United States out of concern stemming from the coronavirus pandemic.

Trump issued a memo late Friday, ordering acting Homeland Security Secretary Chad Wolf to notify the State Department of any government that refuses to accept deportees from the U.S.

Upon notification, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo would have seven days to impose visa sanctions, making it harder — and likely impossible — for citizens of those countries to obtain U.S. visas.

The memo dramatically ratcheted up pressure on governments, particularly in Central America, to keep allowing deportation flights into their countries.

“Considering the profound and unique public health risks posed by the novel (new) coronavirus known as SARS-CoV-2, the need for that cooperation and timely and effective implementation is greater than ever before,” the memo reads.

“Countries that deny or unreasonably delay the acceptance of their citizens, subjects, nationals, or residents from the United States during the ongoing pandemic caused by SARS-CoV-2 create unacceptable public health risks for Americans,” the memo continued. “The United States must be able to effectuate the repatriation of foreign nationals who violate the laws of the United States.”

The threat comes as countries that are home to many illegal aliens in the U.S. are hesitant to accept deportation flights, concerned that they could be importing the coronavirus.

Guatemala, for example, originally implemented a ban on all arrivals from the U.S. in March, and asked the Trump administration halt Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) repatriation flights. The tiny Central American government, under pressure from Washington, D.C., later walked back this plan.

The White House ripped into Voice of America (VOA), a federally-funded news service, on Friday, claiming it used taxpayer money to further Chinese propaganda surrounding the coronavirus.

"Voice of America is a global news network funded by American taxpayers," a White House statement read. "It spends about $200 million each year on its mission to 'tell America’s story' and 'present the policies of the United States clearly and effectively' to people around the globe. Today, however, VOA too often speaks for America’s adversaries -- not its citizens."

The unsigned statement -- titled "Amid a Pandemic, Voice of America Spends Your Money to Promote Foreign Propaganda" -- specifically took issue with a tweet featuring video of China celebrating the end of Wuhan's coronavirus lockdown. It also claimed that VOA called China's response a "model" that much of the world copied.

"Even worse," the White House release read, "while much of the U.S. media takes its lead from China, VOA went one step further: It created graphics with Communist government statistics to compare China’s Coronavirus death toll to America’s. As intelligence experts point out, there is simply no way to verify the accuracy of China’s numbers."

Gates and her husband Bill chair the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation which has already donated more than $45 billion towards vaccination research in the hope of tackling pandemics including coronavirus and Ebola.

She and her husband have long spoken about the fears of a pandemic and had warned that the world was not prepared to respond at a global level.

'Just from everything we know from working with our partners for many, many years on vaccines, you have to test the compounds. Then, you have to go into preclinical trials, then full-scale trials. Still by the time you get it through the trials safety and efficacy wise, then you have to manufacture the vaccine and manufacture at scale. So, I think it really is 18 months,' Gates said.

In one part of the lengthy interview, Gates contemplates a worrying thought - that scientists may not be able to create an effective vaccine for coronavirus.
