Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

The red flag is always separating people from Support systems. Always been fascinated by sociopaths and their thought process.
I watched it unfold, read the book and found everything I could read on it. Watched the news report on the congressman being killed on nbc out of Chicago as what was breaking news. I was 12 when it happened, it left an impression on me. Read the book again last year.
Comparing trump followers to Jim Jones followers is a bad stretch at the very minimum.
He uses Jim Jones because he knows using Hitler will get him a big push back. Don't think he doesn't think it though.

I did not intend to enrage you.
In my original post, I indicated I would be viewing Easter Services from my couch. I simply stated that there could be others the The Holy Spirit did indeed lead to attend in person.
And for disobeying the government, who do I obey? In Knox County Tennessee, the Tennessee Governor indicated that Churches are considered essential, and while the Knoxville City Mayor shut everything down, The Knox County Mayor did not out of respect for our civil rights. Until I cross the border, the Governor of Kentucky has no authority over me, and to the best of my knowledge he's the closest government official to forbid Church attendance.
You didn't enrage me at all. I appreciate what you have to say.

Ok. I am a full time minister. I am not in Tennessee. We have 0 Cases in our county (the map says we have 1, but that person has been out of state for months, they just sent his positive test to home of record). When all this started happening, we had meetings with medical professionals, and our County government leaders. We made a decision that we would suspend in the building services. We went online for the first 2 weeks. For the past 2 weeks we have been online and drive in church. We don't have the fm transmitter. people just roll their window down. I think my politics is this though. I think you can ask the churches to suspend in person services in the building till this blows over, which we have. But to ban them goes against the first amendment.

You have done due diligence then. Kudos to you for going the extra mile to continue with your congregation. I see nothing wrong with drive through. Blessing on you and your community, I hope that zero remains zero.

Were all the day's customers inside the liquor store at the same time for an hour?

Do they have to be ? I must have missed the article on “if you go single file .. you good” . I do however know that only one car at a time goes through McDonald’s drive thur window .

Not really. This article is an example of what "Could" happen. Church should not be a sacrificial cult. Use common sense.....Wherever two or more are gathered, Jesus will be in the midst....

The day the beast visited North Georgia’s Church at Liberty Square

You don't have to sacrifice your well being and the well being of others to show that you are a Christian.
Have you forgotten the start of the church? Or what happened to pretty much any named person in the bible?

There is a reason the Catholic church still closes mass with some local variant of "go in peace"

The good people of Kentucky should have had armed citizens protecting their parking lot and advised those state troopers of the 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th Amendments.

Didn't you know the constitution doesn't apply during times of crisis?

It's a good example of just because you can do something doesn't mean you should do it.

you can't listen to the preacher at home? What is the point of going in person? There are always people that want to be the Martyr. I watched service in my living room with my family. Does that make us any less Christian? Some people want to be "persecuted".
It is to get out of the house.... go for a drive.... see your christian family in a safe environment. Why do you care.... if people are following the rules.

As contagious as this thing is, way more of the population has it or has had it with no major issues. We have to get the economy going now before it’s too late. The ramifications of the shut down will take years to recover from.
It's still humourous that people assume we are just going to go back the way things were in 6 months.

It's a good example of just because you can do something doesn't mean you should do it.
As long as they adhere to the social distancing guidelines and remain in their vehicles they’re basically compliant. There is no reason for such a heavy handed government response.
