As many people as exist in China and with the way logarithmic growth is rather slow at first, it’s actually pretty easily statistically for it to take a long time to get here.As many people that travel between China and the US on a daily basis, if it was in China during Nov/Dec it was here within a couple of weeks.
I used car accident victim bc someone in our county had tested positive..... had a car wreck and died..... he was counted as a covid death....we had a patient on hospice..... tested positive for covid..... no signs or symptoms of covid but passed away..... it is listed as a covid death......they do test some post Mortem but not sure how prevalent that is.I haven't heard of anyone being tested after death. I highly doubt they are wasting tests on dead car accident victims.
I find that I agree with so much you are posting in this thread. I really need to converse with you about your thoughts on other matters. At one time, I think we disagreed more often than not. I wonder if we've both evolved on everything or have found some common ground on this issue.Shutting everything down is the quick and easy solution. But actually using a few brain cells and figuring out how be more permissive instead of prohibitive is hard.
Terrible analogy as usual. Not wearing a seatbelt puts no one besides yourself at risk. And it's cute that you think seatbelt laws are enacted for "safety"
Agreed. I am very interested in comparing Sweden's (who took your approach) results to ours.Starting week 4 of this and I'm still of the opinion that those who aren't at risk of dying should be getting back to work and have restaraunts and what not opened again. Everybody will get sick anyway, start it sooner rather than later and protect the elderly, sick, and their caretakers.

Distinction without a difference. If the state has the authority to regulate what you wear for your own safety (seatbelts, helmets, etc.), it certainly has the authority to regulate what you wear where it is for the safety of others.
Nope. They never stopped. The Sanhedrin didn't even know what to do with Peter and Paul because of the unrest it would cause with the mob of followers. So, they instructed them to cease, and they left and continued their work.
