Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

After reading his post leading up to that, yes I can.
No need in this instance. Guy had an earlier moment and in this case he removed doubt if any was left.

I think he was accused of "celebrating" a death. I didn't see that, but if you guys say so...

But, does the preacher guy get special treatment over those liking a post suggesting that the death of someone drinking "fish tank cleaner" is funny, or deserved it for being ignorant? You guys better get busy, over this "like shaming".

you can't listen to the preacher at home? What is the point of going in person? There are always people that want to be the Martyr. I watched service in my living room with my family. Does that make us any less Christian? Some people want to be "persecuted".

Totally valid question. We are instructed to come together, and edify one another. And do certain things when we come together and as oft as we come together. Christianity is a community. Worship is a community just as much as it is individual. If it were only individual, it would have never survived the roman persecution and flourished.

Can it be watched at home? Sure, we've done it on occasion. Our congregation has a very nice technology set up. We live stream, you tube channel, can even produce concerts. We have a very big and up to date package. Can even do your online contributions and have deducted automatically, for those who travel alot or have jobs that keep them away a lot. Was online the same for me. No. But, that's just me. we have some you may only see on Sunday morning, and not every one at that because they go help smaller congregations in the county maybe on Sunday night, or Wednesday. As a congregation, the elders elected to comply and suspend services in lieu of online. And the full service. Singing. Communion. Sermon. The works. There is a break for you to do communion with family. They've made every accommodation. We have groups of people that have been assigned five families to maintain contact with. I get two calls a week for prayers, needs, etc. Community worship starts with the individual. But, it is no less vital.

Not nearly as sad as Trump realizing that the only thing he can do is sign a toothless executive order with an oversized Sharpie, but don't let that suppress the swelling of pride you feel for basically nothing changing.
It's past time to re open, but it's clear why you all hate that idea

As long as they adhere to the social distancing guidelines and remain in their vehicles they’re basically compliant. There is no reason for such a heavy handed government response.

If religion wasn't targeted, why did those Christians, peacefully protesting outside an abortion clinic, all 6 feet apart, get arrested? And not one single person inside a packed out abortion clinic was arrested.
