A recent questionnaire from the school system has me questioning whether evil will even go back in August. This is beyond stupid and every politician who goes along with it should be removed and ridiculed for life

They are talking a second quarantine here. Basically compress the semester to finish at the beginning of November and have an extra long Christmas break. Start back in January like normal and play it by ear after that.

Almost every story on MSM websites are talking about reopenings and then highlighting every death and correlating it to how stupid it is to reopen. I would love for somebody to give me an alternative to opening at this point. We can't do this forever.

I'm sure there is a segment of the population that is finding satisfaction that the president is turning out to be wrong about his "what can it hurt" statement. At the same token, there is also a segment of the population that won't admit what he said was really f'n stupid.

It's not disgusting, it's politics, and why the president should shut his fat mouth about medicine and matters of science. There is zero reason he should be talking about anything specific related to treatment options. Zero.

To me, a compressed Fall Semester makes a lot of sense. Just start in mid-July and get it all in by early November and see what happens.

Teachers have to be loving this. My kid's teacher has gone from a Mon-Fri, 7:30am - 4:00pm job...to posting the week's assignments on Monday morning and setting up a daily zoom from 12:30-1:30 to help with anything the parents can't teach. I teach everything, and I don't even get feedback. Grades were posted last week and my kid has a B in social studies. I have no clue how she came to that grade.

I don't even care at this point. Just trying to get to the end of the year. If we have to do this in August right out of the gate, I'm raising hell.
