I don't fully understand that. Does this mean they see no reason to take them to a hospital because they are so certain of their outcomes? Or does it mean something else?

But not by restricting the travel from China. And that 65% was in a poll of how many people? I’m in the 35% but not because I think he has been perfect. He certainly hasn’t but no President would be in this situation. I believe he has done a decent job under very difficult circumstances.

Whether I do or don’t has zero impact on me getting the virus. If I’m showing signs of being sick with the issues they say come with the virus I’ll probably just assume I have it. And you moved the goalposts by the way. You hate Trump. That’s fine. I don’t care. At least hate him for something you can actually argue he did or didn’t handle well. The travel restriction from China was the right move, as was allowing American citizens back into the country.

Let’s look at that math. As of today there were 60,000 deaths in MA. So there are 100,000 people in long term care? Where are those ventilators when you need them

I was able to find multiple archived copies of the CDC provisional death data file on web.archive.org.

Using those available archives I made a plot of provisional COVID death data (dates are a bit choppy because the archives crawled by the site seemed to be randomly spaced, not evenly). Two plots are below. One is how the number of deaths in each "CDC Week Ending M/DD/YYYY" period evolved through CDC updates (with each stacked bar color representing the number of deaths added by that that date vs. the previous update). I've also shown how the total deaths has evolved. As you can see, it is continuing its upward trajectory. The COVID deaths have always been separated out in the provisional death data. I believe the hornet is making the mistake of taking the CDC's COVID tracker deaths of 64,000 (which is based on state reported data) and this provisional death data report (which is based on obtained death certificates). Or, he is just mistaken, lying, etc. I don't know which. But the data are below.

I hate no one. But thanks for your observation. Thinking someone is a corrupt, and an inept lying grifter means just that. It’s descriptive. No hate.

If you think Trump has done a good job in managing this crisis I’m happy for you. I prefer a higher standard

Watching him do his nightly “rally”. Trump would say everything was great , Fauci would walk to the microphone and say it’s not

You know at least be in the know and be current in the goings on before you try to question those who are/do.

Fair enough. I apologize for putting words in your mouth. I think he has done a decent job in a situation none of us envy. He is in a no-win situation and has had to make choices no one on here would want to make. I certainly don’t agree with everything he has done but I wouldn’t say he has screwed this up. I honestly think we would’ve ended up with this many infected and dead pretty much no matter what we did short of shooting people for leaving their homes.
