Other than impossible to verify, individual anecdotal accounts? Nope. This is only important to the right (see Fox News) for the same reason a hurricane's pathway into Alabama was important to the right in September... Trump said so, and Trump must be proven right. Trump has a need to protect his ego and his minions are eager to help. It's pathetic.

Granted I am not even remotely familiar with science, and SARS is not COVID-19, but they are both COVID. These fatal heart issues are bunk in my book, especially for a drug that has been out for so long.

This is a great attitude being expressed by The President of the UNITED States.... and good luck getting the unemployment rate below 14% by November, if New York, California, Michigan and Illinois are struggling. Trump is divisive as hell. He is in no way a unifier. That tweet is the perfect example. He doesn't even want to be the President of every state, he just wants to be the President of the States he won in 2016 and can win again. He relishes the division.

...and you will find many more doctors who insist that whatever help hydroxychloroquine is for treating the coronavirus is minimal... and it may present a risk of damage to vital organs. The doctors who feel this way are "motivated by a political agenda" in Trump's mind. That is also "bunk" as you put it... it is also a statement indicative of an incredibly egotistical person, who cares more about his own ego, than anything else.

I’ve got an idea , why don’t they do a study on the hospitals that are using it .. sounds simple enough . Not the VA , but the actually ones that are using it to treat patients.

That is obviously not what the VA study showed... and the point is, the President should not be accusing epidemiologists of playing politics when they discourage the use of a drug. That is BS and speaks to what a petty and egocentric person he is. Trump sees everything through the narrow lens of politics... and only as it pertains to what he perceives to be his own best interest.
