How do you perceive things?

Asking for a friend.
Tell your friend that depends on what "thing" we are talking about. If this "thing" involves treating an illness, and especially if I am the one who is in need of medical care, then I defer to MD's... and I don't accuse them of acting out of a personal bias against me, if they happen to tell me something that I don't want to hear. It would be consistent with Trump's behavior for him to accuse any doctor who told him that he is 30 lbs overweight of being either a Democrat or a "never-Trumper".

It’s more reasonable to think that he just hasn’t partaken of the administration’s kool-aid to the degree that you have.

In fact, Trump pushing FISA expansion is a great example of why Amash’s values warrant opposition to Trump. So your conclusion is not really very reasonable at all. As a legislator, he’s done everything he can to prevent it from being misused.

You expect even more than that from Amash, but won’t hold Trump accountable for pushing for FISA renewal. You clearly don’t care about the issue except to the extent you can use it to absolve Trump or abuse his critics. Which is why I didn’t mean to reply to you.

yeah, yeah...go argue your next case with "kool-aid, your Honor!"

Well, no, I don't find Amash talking about FISA worries when he began advocating Trump impeachment in May 2017.

The surveillance state has been growing 70 years and under every president. It and the 'deep state' are inseparable. I don't see how one can be upset about one and not the other, especially when it takes on the aspects of the NKVD to prevent the election of a candidate, or his removal from duly elected office. With Flynn, Page, Pappa, Trump Jr. for example, the FBI brass literally said "here's our man, let's find the crime".

"And the crimes better lead to the president"

Amash can certainly cast a floor vote, he just doesn't have the guts for the actual fight.

I have always liked Amash. I questioned his libertarian Bona fides when he failed to call out the obvious abuse of power that was levied against Trump.

Tanzania: Goat and fruit test positive for COVID-19, President questions testing kits - Republic World

Tanzanian President John Magufuli has dismissed COVID-19 test kits after a goat and a fruit reportedly tested positive for the infection. Magufuli, who claimed that the kits had ‘technical errors’, had previously attracted global criticism for concealing information about the outbreak in his country. At present, the East African nation has recorded 480 cases and 16 deaths.

Who would have thought that if you put more people together that they would spread a virus?

I had no idea how many nancies we had living amongst us.

I can get along with just about anyone with different views than mine but this lockdown thing is probably going to be a litmus test for me. I don’t think I can have friends who are scared to go outside because the governor said so. It also means they cannot interpret data nor gauge risk.

DPA.

Also, why has he STILL not marshalled all US assets available to him to figure out testing???? Every professional and scientist out there says it is THE key to reopening and to combating the virus.

And yet we continue to get from Trump all sorts of mixed and misleading or flatly untrue messages: anyone who needs a test can get one, we've tested more than anyone else, we are doing great on testing, well no never mind its up to the states to test, and on and on.

If I didn't know better, I'd say its almost like the Trump administration doesn't want us to know the actual numbers.

We've averaged about 1.8 million tests *weekly* the past two weeks.
Just how many tests do "every professional and scientist out there" say we need?

You're right; you don't know better.

I am going on with my life. Is this kills me, then I deserve to die.

WALSH: LGBT Activists Rallied To Shut Down A Christian Field Hospital. This Is What The ‘Gay Rights’ Movement Has Become.

Samaritan’s Purse, a charitable Christian organization, has been essentially run out of New York City after opening a volunteer field hospital to help care for COVID-19 patients.

Their operation in the city was coming to an end soon in any case, as the outbreak is increasingly brought under control, but local media reports that “controversy over the group’s religious views” contributed to the decision to shut it down earlier than expected. To be clear, the “controversy” is that Samaritan’s Purse is Christian, and radical LGBT activists hate Christians. It really is that simple.

It should go without saying that Samaritan’s Purse never discriminated against any patients. It volunteered to serve and help anyone, no matter their sexual orientation, and that’s exactly what it did. But extremist gay groups like Reclaim Pride Coalition rallied to have the volunteers chased out of town, and are now celebrating the closing of a field hospital as a “victory of the LGBT community and other oppressed groups.” A member of the coalition castigated New York City for “bringing a huge, dangerous bigot into our midst,” which is perhaps an overly hostile way to describe a field hospital.

But “overly hostile” is the name of the game where these particular LGBT activists are concerned. A video posted by Reclaim Pride a few days ago features drag queen Marti Cummings ranting that Samaritan’s Purse is a “bigoted, anti-Muslim, anti-LGBTQ institution” that has “instilled bigoted beliefs into the world” (whatever that means). Now, there is no doubt that a man who provides the essential service of dancing in women’s clothes is in a good position to criticize volunteer healthcare workers. Even so, I have to wonder why Cummings, if he cares so much for LGBTQ people and Muslims, is calling for the banishment of an organization that serves LGBTQ people and Muslims. By the way, I’d like to know if Cummings has ever spoken out against any Muslim group for their “bigoted” views about the LGBT community. If it was a Muslim charitable organization serving the sick in New York, would Cummings be making these same criticisms, or would he be attacking anyone who says exactly what he is saying about Samaritan’s Purse?

Sad but not surprising
