How many politicians, for that matter posters on this site fit the same description?
...but Trump is the president. With such responsibility will come greater scrutiny. I can see that many of Trump's defenders will point to Obama, and argue that he was divisive as well. I just don't think I've ever seen anyone who had such a strong need to promote themselves and to protect their ego as Donald Trump has. It is at the heart of everything he does and he even takes it so far as to direct public policy around his ego.

Paul is an idiot so I'm not surprised a friend of yours shared it.

The line between Republicans as denying science, versus Democrats as respecting science, has never been clearer.
It was clearer during the stem-cell research debate. Republicans are against scientific discovery and they apply the silliest logic behind their backwards approach to modern life.

“Man who doesn’t care about FISA thinks Justin Amash should do more about fake FISA abuse.”

That doesn’t even move the needle enough to go look for another gif.

Man who floor votes about theoretical FISA and big government abuse, ignores actual FISA forest fire and 3rd degree burn victims. While impugning man actually pursuing the arsonists.

In fact, Amash was last seen still defending arsonist Comey.

Do you have any show pony gifs?

You're so full of it.

Science that you don't elaborate on and aren't capable of explaining is just a different form of religion.

Don't posture about science with vagueness. You won't post anything with substance because it either doesn't exist, or you know you can't defend it yourself and will get eviscerated.

Apply a single factor analysis to the most complex problem in the world and say anyone who doesn't want a lock down extending to infinity is anti science. Please... What a load of crap.

Trump is, and always has been, a self promoter. He has a brand with his name on everything. That should have been some sort of a clue for you when he announced.

I'll give you that Trump is in the upper percentile and he's more publicly braggadocios but Gates, Buffet, Pelosi, OBama, McConnel, Paul, Clinton (take your pick) Cuomo (and the list goes on) all give him a run for his money. We're just not constantly bombarded with their word twists by the MSM.

Le sigh. Ask not what your country can do for you, ask instead what you can do for your country.

It is not the "country's" job to take care of anyone. Not even sure what she means by country, I am guessing she means government. But then that would be awkward when she turns around and asks for more government.

The economy failing is a socialist issue. If we hadnt been bailing out people these companies would be in a stronger position. If the corporations didnt depend on government regulations to limit competition, we would be in a better place. If we didnt have a government and society that put PC crap in front of performance we wouldnt be as bad.

Capitalism DOESNT ensure anything. If anything capitalism ensures that there will be down turns, and that we should accept that and be prepared. Socialism is the lie that says you never have to deal with reality and tells you you are wrong to prepare for it by "being greedy".

The last paragraph rings pretty true, I would bet though that we disagree on who the privileged few are. For me it starts with the 435+100+1.
