Our economy has nothing to do with how people manage their money. Most people live paycheck to paycheck because if it’s in their pocket they spend it. There’s people at our work that don’t even do the company 401k match, it’s free money but that would mean they can’t spend it on whatever new trash they found of Facebook market. I don’t even talk to people at work about stocks because they think it’s some dark art that 1% of the country owns. They were selling **** in their retirement accounts in March “to find something making money”. Brilliant. The idiot is petty spot on. Not only did the big corporations need immediate relief about half of American families couldn't make it a month without a paycheck. That's two signs that our economy wasn't what it should to be. Not knocking just Trump's economy. It has been the same since the 60's. In the 50s and 60s when I grew up one and occasionally two parents were working, buying a house and sending their children to college and still saving a little money. All of that really started to change with Reaganomics.
It started to change with the creation of massive amounts of government waste and fraud, the creation of the welfare state, and the price inflation of the 60s/70s due to poor economic policies. The idiot is petty spot on. This. Just because people are dumb doesnt mean there is a bad economy. Our economy has nothing to do with how people manage their money. I'm no fan of any Cuomo but let's remember a few things here. One is that by definition, folks who are getting paid are NOT volunteers. Secondly NY is in no position to start the game of not collecting income taxes. They need all they can get. Therefore they should pay a very generous base pay. Thirdly, nobody should go to work in NY and not expect hefty taxes and other expenses.Governor Cuomo Says Medical Workers Who Voluntarily Traveled To New York Must Pay State Income Tax
Health care workers that traveled from across the country to volunteer to help fight New York’s coronavirus outbreak will have to pay state taxes, Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced according to PIX 11.
In a Tuesday news conference, Cuomo said the state isn’t “in a position to provide any subsidies right now because we have a $13 billion deficit,” PIX 11 reported.

I knew that was coming and some do fail to manage their money, but not most as you claim. Most working class Americans make just about enough to get by on. Any bad luck at all can wipe them out. Wages are too low and the corporations and top few percent are hoarding the wealth. Our economy is has not been what it appears. TN and IN are roughly the same demographically. That is a pretty big variance in the two...States with best CFR
South Dakota. 0.88%
Utah. 1.03 %
WY. 1.16%
NE. 1.27%
TN. 1.65%
TN is literally doing a kick ass job given the states we are grouped with. Low populations in massive land size.
Worst states
MI. 9.41% (gretchen sucks)
CT. 8.6%
NY. 7.63%
LA. 7.05%
IN. 6.30 %
So is this just a result of these states doing terrible testing? Terrible Healthcare? Mislabeling deaths?
I would say that most of what you said here is true.I knew that was coming and some do fail to manage their money, but not most as you claim. The 70s was a horrible decade economically. No one had money to spend let alone save. The stock market was pretty much stagnant for the entire ten yrs. It sucked. Things got much better in the 80s. Stocks started to build savings for many Americans and tax cuts put more money in worker's pockets
Do you think the fact that we are now primarily a service economy has anything to do with it?The idiot is petty spot on. LOL! Remember this statement the next time you’re tempted to lose your mind over being reminded that you don’t have enough credibility to be taken seriously.
I was able to save money under the poverty line in 2013 in Atlanta.I knew that was coming and some do fail to manage their money, but not most as you claim. Most working class Americans make just about enough to get by on. Any bad luck at all can wipe them out. Wages are too low and the corporations and top few percent are hoarding the wealth.
