What evidence do you have that supports your suspicions? What I find interesting is while Trump and his supporters question the NY numbers, there doesn't seem to be anyone in NY state who does. New Yorkers see the toll of COVID-19 up close whereas most us have been unscathed by it. I believe this direct experience is one of the reasons why they accept the official numbers.

You mean in NY where the governor was sending Covid 19 infected people to nursing homes? The governor who is saying that he will tax out of state workers who volunteered to help out in the state? The beauty is in the eye of the beholder governor?

One last question does this governor still need 40,000 ventilators?

What a strange connection you've made, sexual gratification? Science shows that a fetus doesn't "feel" pain until the third trimester, few states allow for that.

I abhor abortion, but that has little to do with me pointing out the appeal to emotion argument from you and the other people (e.g. @Ten_Titans ) who may feel the same way.

The suspicion probably revolves around the idea that viruses dont notice state lines. Given this, the accurate numbers would point to the ineptness of how this state is managed.

I don't know if he will replace Biden or not, I just wouldn't put any faith into what he's saying right now. NWIH would he come out and say "yeah if they replace Biden I'm interested".

Suppose there is a tumor or growth on someone's hand. One option would be to go in and surgically/carefully remove the growth with many small surgical cuts. But this takes up a lot of time and resources. The other option would be to just cut off the hand with one cut.

Is that your argument? The virus hit a high density gigantic population center and has also affected NJ, too.

No it's that millions of people were allowed to leave an infected highly populated area of China to travel anywhere else except within China

It has hit plenty of high population areas. All havent generated the same numbers, most havent.

Short of the healthcare system being over burdened, which hasnt been the case, the numbers shouldnt be that much poorer than everyone else's.

But why hold state leaders accountable.

We are months into this and NY, which you would think would have so of the most adherent citizens given what they have seen, posted about 30% of all US deaths yesterday.

So what? There are 8 million people in a 300 square mile area (less half the size of Davidson County.) Wouldn't you expect the virus to spread even if people were quaranteening?
