I havent been following the court proceedings closely, but I thought there were disparate rulings depending on the court. I'm pretty sure a federal judge in NC recently struck down a ban, but a ban was upheld in CA earlier in the month. I don't know if the rulings were temporary or if they have been appealed.

I’m not sure either I was just going by the recent North Carolina ruling either the point remains on trump.... he will either claim he had a part in it or if it is eventually shot down by a court ruling.... he will turn it around and lay it the governors feet..... I am still ticked at governor cooper backing off our reopening plans.

Technically that would be a mask. Many signs I see dont even go as far as to say how the mask must be worn. I would assume that around the neck is fine in that situation.

Yes, the flu pulled down life expectancy by more than 10 years during that year. That is how bad it was. The years before and after that pandemic Male life expectancy was in the late 40s and early 50s.

Our current virus is quite the lightweight compared to that thing.

I wonder how bad that flu would be today with 100 years of medical advances. I can’t imagine the mortality rate would be nearly as high but I’m not sure.
