One size does not fit all in this equation. Some areas were worse than others. Some, largely unaffected. Wash hands, cover your mouth, give space, be smart and move on with our lives. We flattened the curve. It was never intended to be "until we find a cure...". But you're free to remain as isolated as you want to be. Murica!

My brother in law told my wife if they have the LSU Texas game it really will be Death Valley. He seems to think we shouldn’t see each other until her parents are dead, lest we be responsible for killing them. It’s weird watching otherwise rational people go full retard with this stuff.

People are just not as smart and rational as they like to think they are. They just aren't. Myself included. I have my own irrational fears just like everyone else.

We've got this super toxic mixture of lack of knowledge, virtue signaling safety precautions, and pure irrational fear in the public that has basically given policy makers a free pass to go full retard.

I have not been to a UT home football game since 1984.

I enjoy going to an occasional UT men's basketball game and I watch all the games at home and turn on the radio for play by play action.
