Total deaths are NOT down, according to the NY Times hyperlink I provided. Death RATE may be down as compared to confirmed cases. But given how bad testing was early on, I don't know how much real info can be derived from those initial death rates from Marc and April.
They want to have it both ways...this is so deadly and also there are millions more cases than have been counted!Eventually you aren’t going to be able to use the early on and it hasn’t been long enough excuses for dropping death rates . Same for the non uptick in positives as a result of protesting just because some wore a mask . Some didn’t and they were packed together like rats in grain bin swapping sweat and being around the ones that didn’t wear one . I don’t believe the numbers .. any of them .
There are many wanting that to happen along with total collapse of the economy because they hate the Orange Man.. .but their answer is a 80 year old pervert/racist who can't complete a sentence and probably has to be told what state he is campaigning in...I've stopped arguing with them and have moved on to mocking themAnyone else get the impression EL wants this to get worse? More deaths and an economy in shambles will all but guarantee Trump is a one term president.
Forget racism. Now we have Maskism! You two are certainly a vocal minority according to this poll:
"An Axios-Ipsos poll this week found that 60% of Americans say they’re willing to stick with social distancing for another year or more, if needed; 77% say they wear a mask at least some of the time when they leave their homes. The scofflaws are a minority."
Column: We’re turning into two Americas: Masked and unmasked
Almost every word of that is incorrect. You see what you want though.Watch the numbers rise. Before there is a second wave the first one has to end. The first wave is increasing again in those parts of the country not practicing good social courtest. There will be no mandatory mask wearing because it will be an enforcement nightmare with the “I have my rights” crowd. I repeat you do have the right. But you don’t have right to infect me.
With respect to it’s not a Trump issue it very definitely is for as long as the a$$ wipe Governors follow his lead and fail to follow the guidelines. DeSantis in Fl won’t cross. This is a politicized issue because of Trump. He made it so because unfortunately for him it hit ata time when his campaigning got effected. Not his fault. How he has handled it is however. Zero managerial and consensus building know/ how
