Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Florida and Texas have increased their testing, so they have increased their detected cases. Is is common sense.

It makes you wonder who got to Gov Desantis & Gov Abbott. Whatever it is about, I am confident it has nothing to do with coronavirus.

LOL. Did he ditch you at the prom or something???

I like him even better now that I know there is are internet authors making the case for him to be derided. Article written March 19, btw.

Clay is entitled to his opinion just as you and I are. I have yet to see him give "virus advice" as you claimed.

Heh. Travis clearly thinks CV19 is no big deal, and that's been his clear message from Day 1.

Regardless, my sole point is that relying on this dude for info/advice on the virus is about as smart as hiring me to fix your car (FYI your engine will be fine without motor oil).

Naw, that can't be right.

Good attempt to modify from 'virus advice' earlier to infor/advice now without admitting you stepped in poo.
Your point is still without merit. CT isn't sifting through data to extrapolate what to make of the info. As far as I can tell, he isn't making predictions. All he seems to be doing is linking or highlighting the news and data from other sources. Admittedly, I don't have twitter and don't know what he posts besides what is shared here.
Now your analogy. I may not rely on you to fix my car. CT isn't trying to fix Covid19 or our response to it. However, I fully trust your ability to put in my car information into google and find advice, data, TSBs, and forums about my particular car. Seems to me, CT is doing the same.
It also seems you simply don't like what he shares. You haven't refuted his sources. You haven't refuted the data. But you refute him sharing it.

Funny.

So, when someone like CT expresses his "opinion" that often constitutes "advice". These are hardly mutually exclusive concepts here. CT has an opinion on a matter, states why it's right, and what people should do (read: ADVICE) about it.

Hell, I listened to 20 minutes of his following podcast, and he lays out his entire theory about how the college football season can occur, and even remarked that it's actually a "good thing" to have more team members in the locker room test positive for CV19 because that will enable herd immunity (complete rubbish - he doesn't even understand the basic concept of it), etc.

The man knows nothing about medicine, but hey, if you and others wanna seek his counsel, knock yourself out.

Cuomo, de Blasio wrong to limit worship services, condone mass protests: federal judge

New York Gov. coronavirus orders unfairly targeted houses of worship, federal judge says.

A federal judge said New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, Attorney General Letitia James, and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio "exceeded" their executive limits by limiting worship services and condoning mass protests as the state continues to reopen from coronavirus restrictions.

U.S. District Judge Gary L. Sharpe issued a preliminary injunction Friday on behalf of two Catholic priests -- Steven Soos and Nicholas Stamos -- and a trio of Orthodox Jewish congregants -- Elchanan Perr, Daniel Schonborn, and Mayer Mayerfeld -- in Brooklyn, represented by the Thomas More Society.

De Blasio had "simultaneous pro-protest/anti-religious gathering messages" when he "actively encouraged participation in protests and openly discouraged religious gatherings and threatened religious worshipers," Sharpe said in his federal order.

"Governor Cuomo and Mayor de Blasio could have just as easily discouraged protests, short of condemning their message, in the name of public health and exercised discretion to suspend enforcement for public safety reasons instead of encouraging what they knew was a flagrant disregard of the outdoor limits and social distancing rules," the judge added. "They could have also been silent. But by acting as they did, Governor Cuomo and Mayor de Blasio sent a clear message that mass protests are deserving of preferential treatment."

Thomas More Society Special Counsel Christopher Ferrara celebrated the decision and called Cuomo's executive orders a "sham" that "went right out the window as soon as he and Mayor de Blasio saw a mass protest movement they favored taking to the streets by the thousands."

You are guilty of topic creep as you flail about hoping something you type will stick like spag on a wall.

You've tried to subtlety creep from tweets (initial post) to podcasts (this post) after you crept from virus advice to info/advice and now simply to advice.

You have yet attempted to point out the factual errors in his tweets. You have yet to take the original source he cites to task for a bias or agenda. If he is that far off reality, it should be rather easy to do, MP. Your loyal fandom here is waiting for you to drive the dagger through this monster and destroy him.

And lastly, you built a straw man about his knowledge of medicine which absolutely no one that I am aware has claimed. Truth is, I don't particularly care for CT's brand. I found him to be abrasive when he was on Nashville Sports Radio.

I look forward to your expert analysis of his past tweets showing the data errors.

The chickens have come home to roost.

Would wonder what the death cases truly are. I’d say it’s still extremely low.

As of yesterday there were roughly 127000 deaths out of 2,500,000 cases. So about 5% case fatality rate. If 10x as many people actually have had it, then fatality rate decimal gets moved over to 0.5% fatality rate.

That's good to know...we have put off our Route 66 trip because we didn't want to miss out on anything...in 2 weeks we have a mini roadtrip scheduled...Space center in Huntsville, Abraham Lincoln birthplace, the Ark Encounter and Brushy Mountain
The Space Center open again? My stepmother works there and I know it was closed for a while but I haven’t asked recently.

I have yet to see Clay give virus advice. Looks like he simply posts numbers, data from other sources.

Why anyone would ignore the message because of the messenger is beyond me. But to be fair, that is a standard dishonest debate tactic...when you can't attack the message, attack the messenger.
Why anyone would listen to your advice is beyond me.
