Why are we six months into this pandemic and yet there are no known plans for therapeutics In the US? A mild patient is sent home with NOTHING.

Come back when your in ICU condition. No nebulizer to use as home? Albuterol or corticosteroids that counter the inflammation?

Oh, and it turns out HCL works if given early.

Yet, the medical machine won’t come out with any therapeutic plan to keep people from reaching this stage. I’m sorry did you can’t figure that out your crazy.

Until we have enough randomized double blinded clinical trials to prove the efficacy and safety of a drug for a specific disease, there is no conclusive evidence that many of this drugs are appropriate.

Yes, the lack of death in children via covid seems to be firmly established at this point.

Both numbers are statistically negligible and neither are a significant threat to the pediatric population.

Both true. But if you have a flu vaccine and no covid vaccine and yet you still have more deaths among minors via flu, then it is obvious which is more problematic for youth.

In general, I think it’s disingenuous to downplay COVID due to the reasoning that the incredibly minuscule percent of pediatric patients dying from the flu in comparison to the incredibly minuscule percent is slightly more, especially considering that there is a significant mortality difference among the general population.

I think it’s worse to try to force schools to be closed, force people to lose their jobs, force businesses to close, force people to wear a mask etc... all over a virus that is deadly to a very very small % of the people. Sick and elderly stay home everything else should operate as usual

For anybody interested I’ve developed what feels like a really bad cold. Slight fever with a really sore throat and mild cough. Mostly just really tired and lethargic. I’m pretty sure I’ve got the ‘rona. I’ll keep my condition updated on here for anecdotal sakes.

For the record I’m an early 40’s male in decent shape with no underlying conditions. I’m not too worried.

Then tell it on average to 4 people per family of the 130,000 who have died as of today.
