That's kind of silly. Gary Johnson, for example, could have been a complete disaster as president. But you have the benefit of justifying your votes with platforms and policies that are completely hypothetical. Of course there is no moral consequence when you support something you know will not happen.

But see, at that point you had absolutely no idea what kind of President Trump would be so why the overreactions? You can’t claim because he’s amoral when you’re supporting Clinton. So what was it?

We had every indication of what he would be by the way he chose to run his campaign and by the people he chose to surround himself with. People hoped and prayed that was not actually going to be what he was as POTUS, but it was exactly what he turned out to be; if not worse.

An additional thing to worry about.

I got tested last week. Am helping my elderly parents move this weekend and wanted to be as sure as I can that I am not infected. Nothing is perfect, but its the best we can do. The Fla. Dep't of Health does the screening place I went to.

Got results ("not detected") a couple of days ago.

Today I got a call that went to voicemail from a "toll free call" number. The VM said it was the Fla. Dep't of Health calling me about the test results. I figured that it was going to be reconfirmation of the results. Got put on hold and as I thought about it realized this made no sense. The Dep't of Health would not ring in as a "toll free call."

So I hung up and did some research. Sure enough, there are scammers out there calling people pretending to be such and such department, or doing contact tracing, what have you. This is the last thing we need. And it will work everywhere, especially down here with what's going on and all the elderly folks. Hope they find the people behind this and put them under the jail.

It's bad enough what everyone is going through and we have to have people trying to exploit people during this. Scumbags.

But you still didn’t know for sure so the reactions were silly. I forget which poster made the point but the Dems feed Trump. They could cut Trump’s legs out from under him by choosing to try and be “the bigger person” but he drives them so crazy that they can’t stop themselves. I agree that Trump generally doesn’t try to work with the Dems but the reverse is certainly true also.

We are in a situation where we need the public to choose to be "the bigger person" in their dealings with the POTUS.

Get back to us when it is not longer “nearing capacity” but over capacity and no longer “may soon request” but have requested and a statement that it is all due to COVID. Until then it is just more fear BS to get you excited

I don’t get it , the judge ruled that he had to follow specific protocol, why didn’t he just follow it instead of doing it his way ? Seems like an easy fix .. it the governor has the data to back up the reason to make the mandate .
