Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

No, dude, the pandemic is costing people their livelihood. When the pandemic is over, people can regain their livelihood. When people die during the pandemic, not so much.

Money comes and goes. Jobs and businesses come and go. People are more important than stuff. And that is what this all boils down to.
That is your personal value that you put on things..... you can certainly not work.... not go to restaurants.... not go to games..... never ever leave the house if you so desire...... I should be able to make the choice that is best for personal existence.

No, because during a pandemic, other people's behavior can adversely affect (Read: Kill) us all. You are no more or less important than everyone else.

My behavior cannot kill anyone...... there is absolutely zero need to be near anyone. Protect yourself and you don’t have to worry about anyone else

What is the narrative Travis is selling? That CV19 is, essentially, no big deal... yes, people are becoming infected, but that it's no big deal and very few people die. Now if you can't connect the dots on how people are going to die because of this, well... [insert Darwinism].

Travis is a counterweight to the main media narrative, nothing more. The media is clearly overhyping this and Travis is clearly underhyping it.

Pinning your perspective solely on what either is saying is wrong.

Listening to Travis about CV19 is akin to listening to your mechanic's advice about your heart condition.

You cant wreck the worlds largest economy and believe it will be as simple as jobs come and go. It would be an economic Chernobyl except that it would affect the entire world, not just us.

Poverty leads to shorter lifespans.

Did you not survive the "Great Recession"? Did our nation's economy disappear?

Jobs come and go. Yes, it's that simple.

Death from CV19 leads to a shorter lifespan than poverty.

This is nothing like the Great Recession. Did we print 10 trillion dollars in 3 months to keep people afloat during the GR? No.

The average age of death from covid 19 is someone that has already lived past average life expectancy. So your last sentence is completely false.

Not if you self quarantine, wear your little mask and stay at least 6ft away from everybody . That’s on you . Stop relying on others to keep yourself healthy . Seems kinda dumb to me . Oh did you send that $50 to St. Jude in my name yet from the bet ?

Well hopefully you weren’t listening to most of the mainstream media who spent the first couple of months of the pandemic telling us that it was overblown and that masks weren’t an effective way of slowing the spread.

No the pandemic isnt. The pandemic isnt killing anywhere close to the number of people that it would take to effect our economy. Or sending to the hospital.

It's obvious the pandemic isnt responsible because of how targeted the government shut downs have been. A real disaster wouldnt have been picky on what businesses got shut down. Places that serve/sell food we be shut down at a much higher rate if this was a natural disaster. Instead of a purely random shut down, we have targeted.

He had a classic one yesterday. After Florida totally blew the record for positive tests in a day out of the water he responded by noting the percent positive was "only" 11 percent.

I could always kill other people.

If I were to text and drive, drink and drive. Get the flu and pass it to someone else. Or any communicable disease.

I had mengitus in the past, I could theoretically spread that to other people.

Risk is always out there.
