Your right to stay your azz away from me doesn’t give you the right to force me to bend to your will either . If you don’t like people not wearing a mask , stay the hell away from them . Simple really .
You’re not wrong. But it blew my mind how people are ignoring common sense things like packing into buildings, ignoring social distancing, not using masks in an obviously high risk area etc. I can’t tell you the number of places I’d drive by and think “no chance in hell I’d go in there”.You're probably just paying more attention now, people do dumb crap every minute of every day.
This is a great point. You can be anti-mask but still pay a little extra attention and help the cause. It’s not a binary decision.Except your perspective is from your own, personally, a person who doesn't want to ear a mask but is apparently courteous enough not to violate the space of others. Many who won't wear a mask seem to act defiantly and barge right up and violate that 6 ft rule. Big difference

I think that by the time they shut the city down it was already too late. Doesn’t matter though. I’m just glad they seem to have things under better control now. There’s a clear divide in how we all think things should be done but I do at least believe that we all want this thing to go away with as few deaths as possible.Yeah I think the city shut down but the subway wasn’t stopped until May I believe for its first nightly cleaning .
Yep may 6....
Gov. Cuomo says no end in sight for NYC’s overnight subway shutdown for coronavirus cleaning
I agree there is a difference in the amount and length of energy use. I've seen defensive lines starved for air when they use a quick offense. I just don't think putting an air flow restricting mask on players would be good for the players themselves.
Ah, she’s eye candy.I'm not letting her go, she's a PITA, watches too much CNN and spends too much time at church (reformed party girl) but does a fairly decent job when she isn't hanging herself on the cross and playing mother hen.
I'm sure the vaunted legal profession is salivating and working diligently to get lawsuits ready, we will see a flood of them over the next few years.
It would be interesting to see how many 20-50 year olds we've lost to suicides or overdoses to prevent an 89 year old from dying 3 weeks earlier than they would have otherwise.Yes the tons of people who will become homeless because of this should have no worry. The tons of people who won’t be able to feed their kids. The tons of kids whose only balanced meal comes from school. The tons of children who are more at risk to sexual and physical abuse are all less important. Pull your head out of your ass. Deaths of old people is sad. Long term effects of locking this down are far worse.
Always remember it was about stopping a huge wave that crashed our system. It was never about preventing deaths afterwards
The unions are idiots. Once distance learning becomes the norm, teachers can be anywhere, so let's get a teacher living in MS to become VA certified and pay MS scale. Cost of educations should drop by 50% in most large cities. So todays positivity rate is .04% here in Virginia but rumor is Uncle Ralph is gonna put us back in phase 2 ensuring kids can't return to school this fall. Why does he want to do this? Because the teachers union here in Virginia wants 100% distance learning and who do they vote for?

I want to see a governor say we're cancelling school and also not paying teachers. Methinks the teachers' tunes will change pretty quick. The unions are idiots. In worked with a rn. She's trying to abide the rules but has asthma. I've watched her struggle for months with it having to wear just a regular surgical mask.
