We should just stop testing and our numbers will start coming down also. Pretty simple.Oddly enough, I agree. Our testing strategy is so inept and incoherent that it’s pointless to get tested in many cases because by the time you get the information back it’s irrelevant. Regardless, the US represents 4.25% of the world population and 23% of the world covid deaths, so what do you suggest to turn these embarrassing numbers around?
You are the one wanting the whole team hurt just so the score doesnt look so bad.
It's not just those that die that are having their lives ruined. And so far zero thought has gone to how it is impacting those tens of millions of others. It's not wrong or greedy, to say, hey what about these people?
Worst how?The rest of the world wants a vaccine too, but they haven’t done as bad as we have. Again, we are the worst in the world, what would you suggest to improve upon that?
If natural herd immunity doesnt work, vaccine based herd immunity doesnt work. You quit playing the slow the spread prevent deaths game and started playing "open the economy" with the I'm not wearing masks group as your teammates.
Here is where I'm at, slow the spread and watch some football on TV and maybe next year go to a game. As @VolGirl81 illustrated, it affects all of us differently. I think we have a decent balance right now considering herd immunity is still in doubt.
Worst how?
Not in case fatality (12th and less than a 5th of number 1) or deaths per 100,000 (4th and number 1 has universal healthcare)
Mortality Analyses
But oh no, we have the most people with a disease after we have done the most tests.
Well I wish they would not jump at the opportunity. I was diagnosed with lupus a month ago and having some crazy symptoms. My dr put me on hydroxychloroquine and had to jump thru hoops to get it for me. My insurance will only let me get 8 days worth of pills. Pharmacy will not autofill, so I have to call every 6 days to get it approved. Bull$hit
I dont know. But I do know that tanking our economy, which includes health care, so that we have no way to address that second disease is not a good idea.Worst how? We have 4% of the population and a quarter of the deaths... you can’t see this is a problem?
The most frustrating part is that this is basically a starter pandemic of which our mistakes were predictable and preventable. What happens when we have an extremely deadly novel virus pandemic and fumble it the same way?
Here's an article that states no changes in the number of deaths. So its either discharge or false positives.Absent some details, there. COVID patients? discharged or died... etc
Sounds like good news. Here's an article that states no changes in the number of deaths. So its either discharge or false positives.Redirect Notice
