Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Again, what does people rioting and looting have to do with whether or not sending kids back to school is going to contribute to the continued spread of covid 19?
Because being in crowded public spaces spread the virus, correct? Isn't that what we're told? So why shut down one but call another one necessary?

So, the criminal act of looting and rioting, which is against the law, you are arguing that because it is occuring, which is a crime, that somehow invalidates the idea of not sending children to school under the auspices of limiting the spread of covid 19?

That's your logic, that because crime is still occuring, kids should be in school?

No and you know that's not my logic. One is cheered on, even participated in by law makers while other's are shutdown and enforced by law. You only limit what I said down to schools to try to water down the argument. Because originally I said Funerals, Religious gatherings, Weddings etc all legal under our laws here in America.

Are you going to answer questions or are you just going to ask your own? If you do the former it's considered a discussion. If you do the latter it's a game

Which lawmakers "cheered on" the rioting and looting that occurred in Chicago this weekend?

Or is this a 'because they didn't Tweet against it they are for it' scenario?

Again, you are comparing the criminal acts of 'rioting' and 'looting' to non-criminal acts of social gathering that are being limited under public health mandates; it's the literal definition of a false dichotomy.

Who has asked an actual question? I've had to ask the questions to clarify the presented logic, given the responses to my previous questions, that were trying to understand the previous posts.

You were specifically asked this:

Your answer?

I've yet to see Lightfoot come out and say "rioting and looting that occurred this weekend is necessary". What I have seen is several posters say that because she didn't Tweet against it, that means she supports it; which is a very interesting take on silence being tantamount to 'support'.

There has been 100s of posts here accusing Trump of being a racist since he hasn't condemned every tweet/comment or statement of support from admitted racists. It doesn't work both ways?

Here she comes down on police for not wearing masks but not on the protesters:

As she addressed the media, Lightfoot said also officers without masks at protests has been an issue.

In fact she's condoning the protests by offering to close streets for them:

Lightfoot addressed the media on Friday morning, saying she expects the weekend protests to remain peaceful, unlike last weekend. The mayor is urging protest organizers to alert the city of march routes so city officials can block off roads and keep streets clear for participants.

She's even linking protests to lifting the curfew:

She said if protests remain peaceful, the city’s curfew could soon be lifted.

Up until a few days ago I was thinking the only reason for the dems and the DNC run media pushing covid so much was completely about collapsing the economy and while I think that's certainly a part of it still I now think the larger reason is for mail in voting
If thousands of people are allowed to gather for violent protest, they can get their asses in line to vote.
