Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

I was thinking this morning: with around 50% of people responding in surveys saying they will not be taking the vaccine, when it becomes available, what do the "experts" plan for reaching immunity? It's like they are all in denial.

The local health department, board of health, and school board are the same. They talk about vaccine distribution for schools and whatnot, but they don't mention that the majority of parents (I believe) are not going to vaccinate their kids.

Who knows? At the rate we are going, it may be a moot point by the time it becomes available.
43% of our hospital’s staff said they weren’t going to take the vaccine

Can someone on here explain how my 73 year old dad got Covid but my 71 year old mom who sleeps in the same bed with him didn't?

Same thing happened to my neighbors and the spouse never got it.

I really am curious here since it's supposedly so easy to get.
It literally makes no sense. Pretty much my wife’s entire family got it but in our house of 5 people 3 of us did and 2 didn’t. We started out trying to quarantine to avoid others in the house getting it but when my autistic son got it and then I got it, which meant both my wife and I had it at the same time, there was no way to quarantine. My youngest son even drank after my autistic son and there was no way to keep the kids apart or from us yet my oldest and youngest sons never got it. Crazy stuff. We didn’t wear masks in the house either.

First of all I'd say "be thankful". Secondly I no longer believe what we're being sold on this that "no one has any natural immunity to C19." I think some people do

Aren't the restaurants open in Tennessee, North Carolina and Georgia?
I’m in North Carolina.... they are open now but way more strict on everything than south Caroline.... we use to go to South Carolina to eat/shop before they started allowing a little bit here in North Carolina.

I'm in Ohio and our main restriction is a 10pm curfew but neighboring states are far worse. No indoor dining in either Kentucky or Michigan right now

I was called a bad person on Facebook for simply speaking out against Pete Davidson mocking helpless Americans. This guy from Canada said as a teacher, I should not speak my views.

I wonder how he feels about this person?
I got banned from a teacher Facebook page for asking a simple question. They didn’t want to answer it because they knew they couldn’t without looking foolish.
