What makes you think it worked in China?

And ask Hong Kong how they feel about what China has done. Or is forfeiting your freedom of voting, assembly, speech, right to trials, etc worth fighting a disease with a 99% survival rate?

They actually went on a full lock down in Wuhan for about 2 months. We can't even get people to consistently wear or masks. There is NO national response. You have 50 different states doing 50 different things. Then you have cities within each state doing different things. You ask people to not do something, and they refuse to do things because of being a sheep and freedom.

Ask the families of 346K + people who have died what would they do to bring back those relatives who they will never see again. We can agree that some of those people would have died anyway, but a large percentage of those deaths were preventable.

Oh yeah, I remember. They were welding shut the doors of apartment buildings and grabbing people off the streets and throwing them into to trucks to be sent who knows where. If only we had done that here.

What others do has nothing to do with my freedom. If they choose to submit that's their choice.

If you have to ask what's been lost then you aren't paying attention. Citizens all over this country are being subjected to absolute ridiculous govt lockdowns and restrictions. Businesses are being closed all over and lives are being destroyed.

But hey, we should try to be more like China right?

I would suggest against it. Pet Cementary never works out.

I guess you are fine that we locked up the American citizens because of their nationality during WWII, who know how many American lives that saved.

The ends never justify the means.

Most deaths are to some level preventable. All families have gone thru that loss. Never once has it been acceptable to lock down the nation for those losses. If anything our nation has gotten further away from that type of enforced "morality" with drugs and alcohol. You see it with still by far leading killer in the nation. "Body shaming" is not acceptable. But that would save far more lives than the mask shaming would achieve.

And for at least the fifth time. The masks and lock downs dont work. Look at Europe, look at New Zealand. It's not a failure specific to the US or red states. So get off your bs high horse and address the actual facts but you push bs.
