I don't recall anyone on this forum stating that C19 deaths would go away after the election. If someone did, by all means let's call 'em on the carpet. There are a lot of folks very sick from this. There are also folks, on this forum, who have had it and state that it was far more palatable than getting the flu.

I get that but expecting others to protect you is being naive. The only person responsible for your protection is you. Maybe I’m just jaded but I don’t expect much out of strangers.

Because you are the one with the issue(s). If you are immunocompromised are always at risk, not just Covid.

You are imposing upon others, actively taking away rights. (or requesting that the rights are actively taken away). There is no way for you to argue that people living their normal lives is anywhere close to the type of restrictions you want on others.

If you dont think people should always be locked down for you, you dont have a consistent argument for Covid.

I absolutely don't. We should tear up the whole damn thing and base our entire system of governance on parts of the First and all of the Second Amendments. Everything else is just fluff.

I'll say again what I've said before: history will show that the shutdowns and stay at home orders were unnecessary. We could have gotten by with mask, distance, and occupancy guidelines (dependent on hvac configuration) and lost a lot less time and money in the process.

Viruses know no boundries, so why was China able to eliminate it yet their borders are still open to dirty Westerners afaik.

Well, I don't worry about things I can't control, and I can't control other people. All I can control is how I react to them. Sometimes I do that better than other times.

You dont want people to assemble. You dont care about their religious beliefs. What do you like?

It seems like they managed to get more doses from a vial than expected. Since it was going to go bad their choice was call a small group of people they knew or put out a Facebook post and have 2,000 people show up for a few dozen doses. I doubt this becomes some sort of recurring issue.

What damage has been done specifically by Trump? I know you aren’t going to bring up the virus that has affected pretty much every country similarly regardless of the measures taken.
