Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Covid is just a different type of flu. Thats all it is. Every flu death is marked up as a covid death whether accurate or not. No one has the regular flu, its all considered covid.
Ugh. Do you even research this or just buy whatever you are told by some yahoo website. There are thousands of regular flu diagnosis this year. It's down considerably but that really shouldn't be a surprise. How many people working from home? How many schools closed? How many people being more cautious? Millions is the answer.

LOL

It's not absurdity. I stand by your son's school - the science is sound. Welcome to my wheelhouse.

Following multiple studies and a large-scale study performed in multiple phases, it has been determined that participating in performing arts such as band, choir, and orchestra are safe so long as specific guidelines are followed.
  • Musicians must be at least six feet apart, with the exception being that there be nine feet of space in front of trombone players
  • Musicians can rehearse in a facility for no more than an hour, with at least an hour afterward to allow aerosol dispersal
  • Masks with holes for mouthpieces are acceptable for rehearsals, but a regular mask should be used for the remainder of the school day.
This is the information the colleges, universities, and most school systems are operating under.

Please reconsider depriving your child of this opportunity because you don't understand the science. Most students pulled from a performing ensemble never return.

Had a chance to look at a few of the presentations. I think from some of the particle dynamic and aerosol flow studies it was nicely shown that masks during singing/theater and bell covers for instruments provide the most protection. But I never saw the data or a video of masked vs unmasked instrument playing. It seems in the third video, they do an excellent job presenting data that doesn’t actually show masks help in instruments, but then go on and recommend it anyway. If you get a chance, can you point me to where those two are compared. Again, pretty clear that bell covers and distance and time limits help limit aerosol spread.

Every sickness is being contributed as covid. Talking about being a sheep, you should read articles or listen to doctors that aren't part of msnbc or cnn. It doesnt even meet the standards or the definition of a pandemic.

So the 4 million diagnosed with the flu and not Covid are what exactly?

I think it’s a bad move from a strategic point. Why risk the potential slow down of food production?
It makes zero sense from a public health perspective. They're the most likely spreaders given their work and living conditions. They should be among the first to get it. But hey, racists gotta be racist.

I don’t think it’s a racial issue and more of an illegal resident issue. That being said, I think anyone that wants the shot should be able to get it if they want to do so.

Since when is “illegal immigrant” a race?
Illegal immigrants are only one color. Everyone knows that.

I just received the birth certificates I ordered for my kid. I sent the envelope off the 5th of August and the check was cashed a week later. Almost five months for two pieces of paper. These are the people in charge of vaccinating you. Good luck!

You are correct that they should receive it for public health interests. Not wanting to give benefits to people here illegally doesn’t make him racist though. Why is it so difficult for you to understand the difference?

Just wanted to update everyone. The average age for COVID-19 deaths increased to 76 by my calculation. Cdc data set from 12.30.20
