Except all actions seen to have very similar outcomes. Full lock down vs open for business? Same curve.

Closing schools is one of the dumbest moves being made in this country. That is becoming very obvious

That's not an example. That is the parents exploiting the kid killing himself, whether by accident or on purpose. Texas called a State of Emergency in March. In a month, he was so distraught by a pandemic that he killed himself. Hell, Texas was never really locked down.

Not necessarily. There have been at least 5 teachers that have died from Covid in the past month here in Georgia. It is not the same curve.

Do you know whether or not they contracted Covid from being in school? Iโ€™ve read a bunch of articles about the deaths of these teachers, but none of them directly relate them getting Covid to school.

I'd also have to question whether 5 teachers dying of covid is proportionate to the number of non-teachers that died?

A one size fits all approach to all 50 states would have done nothing. Just like in March when we in Tennessee locked down with our thumbs up our asses while thousands died in NY. It didn't matter than we did that when we had a few hundred cases out of 7M people. Localized approaches are the most efficient way to handle this.

It would have done some things. It would have made the side effects disastrously more worse than what we have now.
