Got ‘Rona shot #2 today. And I do feel tired. Really really tired. Not sure if that’s the correlation I was up late but I’m probably turning in early. That’s the only side affect Ive noticed.

BTW does anybody have any brains recipes they care to share?

I got my second one today as well. Dozed off for an hour after dinner. So far it's all I have noticed. By the way, did you know that independent experts agree, that Microsoft Excel online has a lower lag period then Google sheets?

With 100 days until the Tokyo Olympics, Japan has vaccinated less than 1% of its population. That's a problem

Japan's 7 day moving average of new cases is 3.2k. In a country of 126M. That's roughly the same number of cases as California which is less than a third that size.

It will be interesting to see how the countries that successfully tested and isolated their way through this get to herd immunity. Great natural experiments for the next pandemic.

With recent news that the Moderna/Phizer vaccines only being effective for 6 months and I’m assuming we will have to be vaccinated every year like the flu, was all the debate the last year plus about achieving herd immunity irrelevant ? That’s my take as of today.

One of my caregivers husband and some of his sisters received the vaccine in the last couple of weeks so she is a little nervous about it.

The news wasn't they are only effective for six months. The news is that they were still effective at 6 months. In a few more months we will be able to find out if they are still effective at 12 months. Then 18. Then 24. Etc..

The CDC is full of excrement. I'm fully vaccinated and I have a trip planned for next week and another the following week. I have absolutely zero worries about it. I refuse to live my life in fear

Flew this week on Southwest and all seats were filled on a couple of legs. Doubt most were vaccinated. Airports were packed as well

So far 0.004% of the people who have been vaccinated have tested positive for C19. The CDC and Fauci should be proclaiming this sort of stuff from every rooftop rather than fearmongering. Now their decision to pull back on J&J because of a once in a million complication will likely cause irreparable harm to the vaccination effort
