It's got to be a doctor
that's what they call a MD.

From the John's Hopkins article linked yesterday:

They dance around the issue like this, but the truth is that it's a perpetuation of the Nanny-state we are living in. This doctor is suggesting that it would be the responsibility of a retail checker to make sure adults with a full complement of civil liberties are "being safe" and obeying the rules. Simply asking people to stay home if sick or if they have been intimately exposed in the past few days isn't good enough for this type.

There remains no science that concludes that people who are recovered or immunized are at any significant risk for reinfection or asymptomatic transmission of the virus.
Either the vaccines work or they don’t........this mask wearing BS is for the birds

This is about as down the middle as it gets:

People give Bill Maher a lot of crap but he nails this. It’s so refreshing. The idiocy on both political sides of this pandemic really is an indictment on the national media.

On balance I think the fear peddlers and world war z crowd has done the most harm, but that is my opinion.

It's not wrong you just buy into the marketing. You are firmly in the middle of their low info, buy anything demographic. Execs get big bonuses because of people like you
I don’t understand why people think that a cloth mask or paper mask protects one direction but not the other. The virus either gets through or around both directions or it doesn’t at all. How could paper and cloth masks possibly work one direction but not the other? That makes zero sense.

Facemasks in the COVID-19 era: A health hypothesis - ScienceDirect

Stanford study that's says
"The data suggest that both medical and non-medical facemasks are ineffective to block human-to-human transmission of viral and infectious disease such SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19, supporting against the usage of facemasks. Wearing facemasks has been demonstrated to have substantial adverse physiological and psychological effects"

You can review the whole study for yourself.
Yet Knox County schools will still be requiring masks next year. That’s what makes me want to keep the kids home, not the virus.

Funny. The concensus prior to covid in 1000s of studies showed masks were ineffective. But you were quick to ignore it with zero studies cited at the beginning of this.
Don’t worry. She’s here to educate all of us on “how science works”. I really hope she explains in these next few pages. I’ll keep scrolling as I’m 3 days behind.

They're never going away. I can't envision any scenario in which people are using NYC public transportation in five years, for instance, without wearing face masks. I would guess that Knox County schools won't require masks during the 2022 academic year, but masks are unfortunately here to stay in a wide variety of public places.

Unfortunately Knox Co already said they’re required. They sort of loosened up a couple things but if you’re within 6 feet of someone you have to have a mask still. Ridiculous.

California with some great new rules. If you are out of state, you can visit museums and amusement parks if you are full vaccinated. If you live in California, they don't care about your vaccination status. Science. ps. It's all lip service anyway. No parks are enforcing these things at the gate.

Knox county schools has voted to follow the recommendations of the department of health for next year. A continued nonstop game of punting the ball to the next guy.

Liked most the video, but count me as one of the crazy folks who don't believe in asymptomatic spread. If it exists, I don't think it's significant. Maybe presymptomatic and mildly symptomatic, but not asymptomatic. I still don't believe you are sick until you are diagnosed with symptoms. Not a positive test. Like masks, this wasn't a thing until covid, which alerts the BS, fear porn meter that's really just meant for government compliance or partisan crap.

And I don't believe vaccinated people can be carriers. I do believe vaccinated people can get it, but that's because their immune system was not responsive to the shot or working right.
