Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Oh I get it. You yourself have taken the vaccine but don't have the stones to call out idiot conspiracies surrounding it. Instead of telling people the truth, you placate them, hold their hand, and tell them that what they believe is always right.

Or maybe not. You realize COVID has disproportionately affected minorities right? What better way to keep the good times rolling than saying the vaccine is going to poison them? I mean this is white supremacist prophecy fulfilled right? Instead of encouraging vaccination among minorities let's tell them that the vaccine is going to kill them so they ACTUALLY don't become immune to it, keep getting infected, and keep dying at disproportionate levels from COVID.
Are you stupid? Where have I ever discouraged anyone from getting a vaccine? I was explaining to your ignorant ass why groups of people might be hesitant. Jesus man. Grow up. Learn to read.

But you feel free to explain to African Americans how they are being stupid to trust the government. Something tells me that's not your public stance. Are you a racist? Or just ignorant of the struggle?

Let's just be clear. You find it "dumb" that a group of people who were enslaved by this country, had horrible deceptive medical experiments done on them, and have a history of being mistreated, that they don't trust the government. You are the King of White Privilege! Congrats!

You are looking at this completely wrong. Which is obvious for a troll.

AA are more affected.
But they are also less likely to get the vaccine, despite being free.

I doubt they are watching too much fox news or reading the KKK Today or visiting QAnon reddit. They obviously have their own reasons not to get it. Tuskegee is just one possible reason, but it's not the only one. Seems like if YOu want AA to take a vaccine they clearly dont want you need to figure put why, instead of making assumptions on their behalf.

So using this info and current trends of death in the US, Covid19 caused about an increase of 400,000 deaths in the US last year or 0.14% of the total population. By comparison, the Spanish flu killed 3% of the population 100 years ago. So the Spanish flu was 22 times more deadly than Covid19. Guess which "pandemic" closed the country for a year...

On the flip side, we could have done nothing and found out the hard way that it was 10x worse than the Spanish Flu (thank goodness it wasn't) and be grumbling about how two presidencies let so many people die.

It's a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" scenario, exacerbated by news bytes tailored to each person's bias bring broadcast at the speed of broadband. Plus individuals in positions of power trying to fudge the truth for reasons we're still unearthing (Fauci et al.).

It would be far more acceptable if the government waited to act on science.

We cant just react like this to every new disease.

Actually the outcomes have shown that the overreaction was unnecessary. I happen to live in a state that is and was open but haven't died yet. My kids are also still alive as are their teachers. There's common sense and then there's the complete shutdown idiocy

The images we were getting out of China (not that we should ever trust their media) were of emergency hospitals being built in a week, wards of ventilated patients, a doctor warning us then getting 'Reeducated' by his party. They made it look pretty darn convincing. Shame on us for falling for it.

Conjecture taken to the ridiculous.

Who said anything about "doing nothing"? The .gov should have closed the borders, pushed for a vaccine, funded research and disseminated the facts with recommendations based on the science. All the while helping areas hit hard with supplies and manpower.

This is a smoking gun that Fauci lied under oath when he said we are not funding gain of function research:

Read THE POSSIBILITY THAT THE COVID 19 VIRUS HAD A WUHAN LABORATORY ORIGIN by Daszak which is a confession: "This summary contains the information for the 2014 and 2017 NIH and NIAID grants to the Ecohealth Alliance that funded the WIV research on bat conronaviruses. As the grant description shows, this research included gain-of-function / gain-of-threat research to make coronaviruses viruses more pathogenic using techniques including genetic engineering, cell culture, and animal experimentation." Shame on the WHO lying on behalf of China. And in this particular case China denied the US, or anyone, from sending their own doctors in. What was Trump supposed to do? Sanction or invade them?

I think this was a case of our government being in bed with China and it became political way too early.

To those who support lockdowns because they save lives, answer me this:

How many lives does this pandemic have to cost the world before you admit that gain of function research is too risky and needs to be halted? Fauci is a big supporter of Gain of Function research on viruses. He refuses to budge on that even as we see evidence building that this was a man made disaster

Why won't NBA players like LeBron advocate for the vax? This isn't able Tuskegee. This is a problem w/i the AA community. Their leaders won't lead on this.

So our company is implementing new mask guidance based on updated CDC guidelines.

If you have taken the zombie transformation you
  • Fill out a form for your supervisor and company nurse
  • Show the company nurse your vaccination card, no copy is made
  • He/she certifies your vaccination status
  • Going forth no more used drawers on your face
I’m looking forward to the inevitable virtue signaling mask hole responses that I just know are going to occur 😈

Normally, binary thought is practiced and even applauded here. I use one example and it's suddenly it's ridiculous. Confusing.
You can be confused, but it's still conjecture. Had we done nothing, this very could have burned itself out in a couple of months. *Now it's binary.*
