Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Normally, binary thought is practiced and even applauded here. I use one example and it's suddenly it's ridiculous. Confusing.
Binary thought is practiced here. But it’s often ridiculed, and deservedly so. It’s a tool of the hyper-partisan on both sides. It’s like calling someone a Nazi or a racist because they have a different opinion. It’s intellectual laziness.

Why won't NBA players like LeBron advocate for the vax? This isn't able Tuskegee. This is a problem w/i the AA community. Their leaders won't lead on this.
I believe it's because many profit from the suffering. You've seen it for decades with types like Sharpton. Now you have the BLM lady.

And that's not even bringing up politicians, who by their nature dont fix problems, either party.

It’s becoming this gang mentality, it’s really ugly and not sure how anyone can fix it.
By stopping. It's what I warned about to the Dems under Trump. I kept saying you are stooping to his level. They didnt care, they had to play partisan politics with their "he started it" card. It stops, or at least gets better when people actually stop doing it. It's as simple as that.

On the flip side, we could have done nothing and found out the hard way that it was 10x worse than the Spanish Flu (thank goodness it wasn't) and be grumbling about how two presidencies let so many people die.

It's a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" scenario, exacerbated by news bytes tailored to each person's bias bring broadcast at the speed of broadband. Plus individuals in positions of power trying to fudge the truth for reasons we're still unearthing (Fauci et al.).

Finally, a moment of honesty.

So how do we know it would have been 10x worse than the Spanish flu? Especially when it comes to mortality rates. Number of infections is a meaningless stat.

Liberals worship Fauci. He will always get a pass.
Which is why it wouldn't have made a dimes worth of difference about Trump kicking off of the stage once it was apparent that he was a media darling. Had Trump kicked him off the stage, the media would have been right there to pick him up and give him airtime.

Fauci: Personal attacks are 'distorted' and 'misleading' - News Break

He goes on Maddow to tell her he’s being unfairly targeted. Says he was following the science. When, in fact, the whole reason this is being brought up again is because the actual science, most of which predates February 2020, paints an entirely different picture.
I'm less concerned with the science right now than his lying under oath about our funding Wuhan. I'm sure he chose her show because she wouldn't press him on that stuff. It's much easier to ask him how many masks he recommends
