Why Did A Pentagon Subagency Dedicated To Countering WMDs Give $37.5 Million To Firm With Ties To Wuhan Lab?

The U.S. charity that allegedly funded risky experiments on coronaviruses at a Wuhan lab prior to the pandemic has received at least $37.5 million from a Department of Defense subagency dedicated to countering weapons of mass destruction, federal records show.

The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) provided the funds to EcoHealth Alliance across nine contracts and grants since 2013, the records show. Five of the DTRA’s projects with EcoHealth are still active. The projects involved studying and combatting pathogenic risks in Malaysia, Western Asia and Africa.

While EcoHealth received funding from the DTRA, which exists to “identify, develop, and field solutions to counter [weapons of mass destruction] and emerging threats,” it simultaneously provided $600,000 in taxpayer funds to the Wuhan Institute of Virology to conduct what some virologists say were gain-of-function experiments on bat-based coronaviruses to artificially enhance their transmissibility.

Id hate to see the result of a legit accounting audit on gov finances

I would love to see it. Maybe break people from their partisan worship. Probably not as people would continue to solely focus on their opponents.
If our culture continues down the path of social media-fueled narcissism where everyone thinks they're a genius, our republic is dead. I'm not so certain we're past the point of no return. But I think we're close.

Not as bad as all those agencies we have in our gov. that get all that fed funding would hate it . I’d settle for being able to nail them down in a ledger some where so we can actually point to them and ask the question.. WTF? Hell I’d be happy if we could just point out the ones between Norfolk and DC . Lol

Had to see it coming though after the lefts rein of terror from their Governors this last year . I’m actually shocked it’s been this mild so far .

Abbott is a POS and should resign, he's no better than Whittmier, just the other side of the coin. DeSantis lost any possibility of gaining my vote by signing similar legislation.

We have stacked the pig sh!t too high to turn back now on this Covid thing , everyone has a scoop and heavily invested regardless of any facts . This is what happens when you feed nonstop BS to the gullible 24/7 , even when the truth is able to come out about exaggerated numbers and overblown fear mongering, nobody is listening anymore . It’s all or nothing .

Rand Paul ain't going to be on the ballot in Nov 2024. You'll only have so many choices

That's why IMO govenors like Abbott and DeSantis have no principles and are just pandering to a base.

Lol that’s a pretty funny hot take hogg. Abbott is fine and no where near the wicked witch of the North. Any individuals vaccine status is none of a company’s business. Now if he had prevented businesses from imposing mask mandates or things like that, that would be over reach on his part.

An individuals vaccine status is the business owners business if they choose to make it their business. Baring a business from requiring proof of vaccination is no different than forcing them to serve or employee people they don't want to.
