I'm not too concerned about the safety of the vaccine yet concerned enough that if the efficacy is minimal between natural immunity and vaccination I'll stick with natural.

Then stay home. If you think the safety of your child is at risk, the correct move is not to do what the government says. Especially someone with wealth.

the story doesn't indicate if the kids got Covid at school. if they did, it shows wearing a mask doesn't afford much protection from contracting Covid

Because masks aren't 100% effective doesn’t mean we shouldn't use them, it’s like saying that since people die wearing seatbelts we shouldn't use those either.

No they aren't. They are tying their guidance to the cdc. It's smart on their part. Look at when they dropped masks and when they said put them back on. The CDC is the perfect group to blame when you have some loud mouth wanting to argue about your store policy. You simply say take it up with the cdc.

I can point to a lot of data that states the person who has COVID and is wearing a masks helps prevent the spread.
