A New Jersey inmate who was freed early because of the COVID-19 pandemic has been charged with murdering a teenager just two days after his release.

Jerry Crawford, 25, was serving time for burglary when he was let out on “public health emergency credits” to parole supervision on Nov. 4, prison officials confirmed to NJ.com Wednesday.

He has since been charged with the murder of Davion Scarbrough, 18, who was gunned down in Bridgeton on Nov. 6 — just two days after Crawford got out of South Woods State Prison, the outlet said.

I know at Erlanger they've combined a ****** admin environment with canning a bunch of nurses, and now they're short staffed and can't get anyone to come work. What a shock. People in employment circles talk, no one is going to take a job at a place that's awful to work at even if the pay is better. Meanwhile the board is giving the CEO a bonus based off of "increased revenue" that includes a ton of fed money for Covid. Lol.
They have created a certain to fail environment. I’ll be there first to say that there are certain nurses that shouldn’t be working in ICU. I’m working in an underserved area but negotiated my pay up front. We depend on a float pool of spoiled babies. They are float pool because no manager would put up with their behavior as an ICU staff nurse. I would fire 4 people right now that I can think of after assessing them and working with them. They are unsafe and can’t handle crashing pts. They are more concerned with their food order for the first 3 hours and their phone. We need qualified RNs and the only way to do that is give them good base pay and adequate staffing. As long as these admins make that money, we will never reach that goal of adequate stable workers.

I think the world has passed you by, the first primary skill of nurses is creating dancing Tik Tok videos. Patient care is still in the top 10, but think how many of your patients would be instantly healed and walk out of the hospital if they saw a video of their floor nurses dancing to Thriller.

Says someone who NEVER met a tax they did not like.

Someone is paying for all the people who get sick and hospitalized because they didn't get vaxxed. In many cases, that someone is society at large through the form of .... you guessed it .... TAXES. Why should taxpayers have to pay your six figure hospital bill when you could have gotten the free vaccine and not been there in the first place. By putting those societal costs (known as a negativite externality) back on you, the inefficient behavior is more likely to be reduced. Those who hate taxes should LOVE this idea.

God, you guys suck at argumentation.

The claim contested was that no government entity can do anything correct ("The moment you assume a .gov entity can do anything correct you have already lost"). This entails that a governmentless country, such as Somalia in the recent past, should be at least as good as, or better than, ANY country with a functioning government. To prove that wrong, I only need to show ONE country with a government that is preferable to Somalia. I don't need to show that EVERY country with a government is preferable to Somalia.
I bet you settle a lot rather than ever taking a case to court. Anyone opposing you would be a sucker to take the deal

My sis at 60 just retired from there in the admin office after like 30 years. Have not spoken to here in awhile, but know she is glad to be OUT

And please God, do not encourage every good RN to become an NP or PA.

BTW we are hiring nurses for work at home jobs...SUPD, CMRs, COAs, mostly reaching out to providers and asking them to schedule labs, start or stop meds or do yearly med reviews

DHS Dropped 40,000 COVID-19-POSITIVE Migrants in US Cities: Ex-border chief

The nation’s former border chief reported today that the Biden administration has placed some 40,000 illegal immigrants infected with the coronavirus into American cities.

“At least — that’s conservative,” former acting Commissioner of Customs and Border Protection Mark Morgan told Secrets this afternoon.

In an earlier Zoom briefing, Morgan estimated that about 270,000 illegal immigrants have been released into the United States since President Joe Biden took office and signaled to Latin America that the border is open again, as it was under former President Barack Obama.

But Morgan said that the border crisis is far different than others before it because of the continued virus spread in the world and the failure by the Department of Homeland Security to test all those it is shipping off to cities.

You do realize this argument lost a lot of luster when many of those in the hospital have been vaccinated.

I feel for you NGV, but try working in a union plant where everyone makes good money, it doesn't guarantee quality and you can't fire anyone.

Uhhhh, I have medical insurance because I work. And even when I have had bouts of not working i still pay for a plan with savings...Lulz

Now do the illegals.

Lol, you literally dont want to go there. People being responsible for themselves. How I wish.

Don't know how much the feds are paying per vaccine, but it's a helluva lot less than they're paying for the unvaxxed who get covid and get hospitalized. Those costs ultimately come back to all taxpayers. So if you want to pay LESS in taxes and believe in PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY, which all card carrying members of the GOP believed in pre-Trump, you should want a tax on non-vaxxers if it leads them to get vaxxed and avoid those massive hospitalization costs that you'd ultimately have to pay for.
