Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

I'm torn on this. Are we supposed to now look for the govt for solutions or look to the private sector? I guess I'm torn because at this point, I'm not certain there is much of a distinction between the govt and Big Pharma... and I wonder if the two of them wouldn't be colluding against the people to squeeze out as much from the citizens as possible.
Idk... how long have big pharma and gov officials been in bed together? 50 60 years? Why is an industry exempt from being sued over vaccines? Why do we continue to see the yearly push for flu vaccines that are only 40% effective? Why has the American public become pill junkies instead of relying on their own self motivation to be healthy?
Are we becoming more healthy overall with all the interventions we do medically or less healthy? Is quality of life more important than quantity?
End question rant..

Go ask hospital leadership about adequate staffing. The bigger issue during this whole thing has been nursing shortages, from them having to stay at home to take care of kids, to nurses getting 0 protection last to, to now nurses being threatened with being fired if they dont get the vaccine. And then you have petty hospital leadership like in the area where I live who, if you leave you can only not come back to the hospital you used to work at, but also any hospital in their network, and they control all of them but one.
Theres been a lot of numbers thrown around during this thing that are wrong, the first is full ER's, they stay packed, and hospitals like them being packed because if they arent, they arent making money. The second is places running out of beds, that could be true, but thats because floors arent running at 100% due to staffing shortages, but hospitals would rather cry woe is me, then admit that theyre running off good nurses left and right.
This couldn’t be more true.

this is what you will see on a report in ICU.

Match that up with any of these variants

You end up with only SARS-Covid 2. Care to rethink that?
That first report looks like most of the ones I've gotten back.

Definitely more CV19 in the past couple weeks than I've seen in several months, but it's still a minority, and none have been very sick (knock on wood).

View attachment 388112From the cdc today. Seems to go directly against the media narrative of delta wiping out the country.
I wasn't suggesting Delta was wiping out the country. I also wasn't suggesting, like that moron, that vaccines were to blame for this. Delta came from India. Essentially nobody was vaccinated there when it was discovered. She's an idiot. Or a liar.

Thank goodness. We have 3. Case 1 on Room air and shouldn’t even be in ICU transfer orders this morning. The second on nasal cannula at 4, transfer orders were put in this morning and the third DNR with BMI 60 RA and advised against the shot.
The first 2 were placed in icu overnight because step down beds were not available. They will count in the hospitalized ICU pt count for the state.

My apologies.
I can’t remember who pointed out that the variants were here long before the vaccine. The variants are what viruses do to survive. If anyone is flaming the vaccine for the variants I would have to question their deductive abilities. I’m not saying variants can’t come post vaccine because they certainly can and will. To blame the totality of variants on the vaccines is just incorrect. So is she banned yet?

I am sorry. Wasn't her premise that we are dealing with these variants bc of vaccination? If so then yes she should be canceled bc she's ignorant AF. That's how I read her take.

I'll go a step further. I've been concerned for about 20 years or so that we've been over-prescribing antibiotics and as a result, we are going to one day have a problem with a bacterial outbreak that is a super bug that cannot be treated with traditional means.

My concern now is that with vaccines being pushed out for mild things like chicken pox and the flu and now COVID, that we may be entering a similar situation with viral outbreaks. It may not necessarily be viruses are getting stronger, but more along the lines that we may be doing things to weaken our natural immune system.

She's as out of her league taking about this as I am talking about healthy lifestyles.
Even you have to sit back and ask yourself why the political machinery and media seem to be in lockstep on using these far cheaper methods. And you also have to at least wonder why there is so much pushback and backlash against doctors that use these methods and claim to have had success.

The entire blackballing and bookburning campaign going on just seems odd.

We already have people admitted on the regular and we get MIC reports back from the lab which tell us what their bacteria are resistant to. In the last 15 years there has been an appreciable increase in the number of resistant strains in those reports. I’ve seen a few cases where the ID doc says we need to send them to CC because I just don’t know what combination of drugs available here are going to mitigate the bacteria.... need next generation or experimental drugs.
I am also concerned about the totality of vaccine effects with multiple vaccines. I feel I can’t adequately relay those concerns enough.

Media, pharma and some .gov are all in with the vaccine. Bribing, cajoling & threatening the populace to get it whether you actually need it or not seems to be a major move that can’t allow knowledgeable, experienced detractors. You can’t have a successful vaccine program with those whose opinions disagree with you being considered by the public. Even if their dissent maybe factually incorrect I would rather read it and parse it out to decide for myself.

Given the number of vaccinated people I have heard of contracting CV19 in the last few days, I'm starting to wonder if we need a new approach. Hammer therapeutics? Different vaccine? I don't really think that more and more boosters of a poorly-matched vaccine is going to be the answer.

Obviously, reaching the new HIT for the Indian Delta variant is the long-term solution, but we could be a ways off, given vaccine escape and increased transmissibility.

Why can't they adjust the vax to be more effective vs the Delta variant? If they don't do that, I don't see that another shot is practical

Kind of sounds like a good way to depopulate the earth doesn’t it? Also would reduce carbon emissions by quite a bit;)

I thought the advantage of mRRA vaccines were they could be rapidly tailored to emerging viruses.

This couldn’t be more true.

My buddy who works at the VA was saying this is the issue with hospitals reporting they are full. Said nurses are quitting and going to family doctors because they are overworked, underpaid(at big hospitals), and are hesitant of the vaccine. Apparently family doctor offices are not requiring vaccine.

That was his view of what is going on.
