The two groups studied are vastly different from each other. The median age of the vaccinated group is pretty significantly higher compared to the convalescent group by almost 15 years. >51% of the vaccinated group is over 60 while only 16% in the convalescent plasma group. In the vaccinated 180 day group the average age was 65 compared to 40 in the unvaccinated group at the same time interval. Also the vaccinated cohort had significantly more comorbidities including diabetes and immunosuppression. don’t know if you can confer that much from this except spike ab in previously infected 40 year olds may last longer than vaccinated >60 year olds with more comorbidities. Would be better if they compared vaccinated vs previous infected with same age and medical conditions.

On July 6, 2021, Open Forum Infectious Diseasespublished the article “Meta-analysis of Randomized Trials of Ivermectin to Treat SARS-CoV-2 Infection” by Hill, et al. Subsequently, we and the authors have learned that one of the studies on which this analysis was based has been withdrawn due to fraudulent data. The authors will be submitting a revised version excluding this study, and the currently posted paper will be retracted.

Hope it works but the study retracted that they used in the meta-analysis from Egypt was the largest trial included and showed the most improvement with ivermectin. Would be great if ivermectin works though. A cheap drug that could save lives. Wish more research would be done on fluvoxamine and inhaled budesonide. They seem to have better data than ivermectin.

If I do (which considering my vaccination status, age, level of health, and following of CDC recommended protocols would be highly unlikely) I will have gotten a bad draw for sure. I trust the doctors would do everything they can to help anyone in that situation. But thanks for your concern.

Isnt that exactly what the vaccine is? Some mix of rando chemicals designed to help.

Your beef if that these 9ther options werent purpose built for Covid. Which exposes what you care about. And it isnt the derived safety from possible alternative options.
