Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

I don't doubt that. The question is if it would be asked for. I don't see it, at least not in the majority of states. Lockdowns aren't popular amongst most Americans.
We've already seen it in major metro areas in the US. I don't think it will take much to push more towards that same thing

Have you been paying attention over the last 18 months? Hate to burst your bubble, but this administration is going to push us in that direction. All it will take is one more "variant" or a new Covid-22 strain to pop up and they are going to push these red state governors over.

Would lockdowns help this administration get re-elected? I doubt it, and that's what everything revolves around.

Too many vaccinated folks getting it for me to believe that. Is it helping to reduce systems, I'm still on the fence. This virus is always going to be one step ahead. Not sure it ever goes away. I'm fully vaccinated and not an antivaxer but I have my doubts about it's effectiveness. The numbers early on were saying still in the 90% range for moderna and Pfizer, now there in the 70%s?
Saw an interview with a Doctor today from Massachusetts General who said 35-40% of new cases in Massachusetts are from the vaccinated. Of course he said it limits their chances at hospitalization or death but if we’re getting close to 50/50 vax/unvaxed, who’s popping up positive and the CDC has already told us that the vaxed can spread it just as easily, then I don’t see how it slows down and it’s going to be hard pressed to blame the unvaxed.

Australia started as a penal island and now it is a penal island once again. History repeats itself.
