Umm I don't think you are actually paying attention. When has the current admin encouraged anything like lockdowns? Did lockdowns happen more now or less when Trump was in charge? I don't care about what they say. What happened? And I don't blame Trump for lockdowns. That's on Governor's. I do blame him for Fauci.

Some have worked. We are in a crisis, and possible avenues are being shutdown and not explored despite some evidence of success. If Covid is as bad as it seems to be it seems that we wouldnt leave any stone unturned.

And they were assembled by their own teams of experts. Many medical breakthru have been by accident or repurposed from some other treatment. No idea why Covid has boiled down to only vaccine.

Everywhere you look there are "Hiring" signs. Almost everywhere. Every industry.

Last night I went to a Nordstrom Rack store and was asking how often they get inventory. They said about 4 times a week but they don't have enough workers to put it out. Clearly hiring.

Tonight for dinner, we are just ordering pickup from Logan's. I called it in and they gave me a standard 30 minutes. I made it and you guessed it - sign on the property "Hiring". I noticed the parking lot was half empty yet people were waiting to be seated. Finally went in to get my order, they said it will be another 10 minutes. A guy went up to get seated and they told him an hour. I don't know if it is space seating or the lack of employees but we are a changed nation right now.

We were discussing this issue in the Phil Valentine thread but I don't know how the origins of this thing doesn't severely piss people off. This sbould be a consensus and not a partisan issue.

It's not due to Covid that places are hiring. It's because the extended unemployment benefits made it better to not work. Which isnt capitalistic at all. If it was Covid stores would be open, shut down when X percent of employees were sick, and then be right back open, more or less fully staffed after quarantine for a while.

You would have a lot of little 2 or 3 week shutdowns. Not continuous month/year long shutdowns.

Because the Branch Covidians don’t want to admit that Trump, inarticulate as he was, was right regarding therapeutics’ efficacy in treating Covid.
If just one life is saved (to use the left’s favorite standard) by ivermectin and HC, then they are a valid treatment option.

Covid was the opening for those extended benefits and upheaval of society. It more than likely helped Biden win the presidency. He's a frail, gangly, old man.

For this being some world ending catastrophe the lack of alternates being seriously looked at is questionable.

Masks should be worn by people who are potentially vulnerable to respiratory infections. They shouldn’t be blanket mandated because a few Karens get their feelings hurt.

Not to mention that early on it was thought the virus could use your eyes as a vector. I don’t know if that has been disproven or not.
