Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Because the Branch Covidians don’t want to admit that Trump, inarticulate as he was, was right regarding therapeutics’ efficacy in treating Covid.
If just one life is saved (to use the left’s favorite standard) by ivermectin and HC, then they are a valid treatment option.

things that don't prevent Covid-19: ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, vitamin D, antibiotics, garlic, zinc, turmeric, other 'home remedies'

thing that prevent Covid-19: vaccine*
*with 99% chance of no hospitalization or death if infected with SARS-CoV-2

oh and by the way, do you know who does take ivermectin?

You guessed it….sheep

Interesting. When I had Covid, I took zinc, vitamin C, Tylenol, etc. When my breathing became difficult, I used albuterol. Despite being over 50, overweight, a diabetic and particularly vulnerable to respiratory ailments due to a nasty case of viral pneumonia in 1996, i was sick for two weeks. 7 months before the vaccine was conferring a 99% survival rate, I was one of the 98.9% who survived.

you are conflating prevention and treatment.

not sure the 99% chance of no hospitalization or death is correct anymore.

Oh, and humans:

Because vaccines have a proven track record of working and eradicating diseases?

You sound like an essential oils salesman.
Vaccines work, but medicine doesnt?

Your pharmacy staffed by people wearing witch's hat?

Vaccine is prevent defense. Works great if you keep the disease in front of you. As soon as its behind you, its game over. It's why some vaccinated are still dying. Not sure why you are upset that I want to come up with ways to treat people who get it.

You left off "immune system" for things that prevent Covid. Why does that constantly get left off? Why is the rhetoric that ONLY the vaccine works?

Besides ignoring that the vaccine requires a working immune system to function at all, its fear mongering position from the start which ignores reality.

Yep just more stupid disinformation by M4V 🤷‍♂️
This media-driven assault on Ivermectin as a "horse dewormer" is literally the most ignorant thing I've seen all year. Almost every medication used in veterinary medicine is also used in humans or is derived from a similar human drug. Hell, I've even prescribed ivermectin several times.

My high school classmate has been on a vent since last week. His lungs and kidneys were just about shot. The hospital let his wife in to basically say her goodbyes. But, thank God, his numbers have actually ticked back up over the past few days. He's not out of the woods by any means, but there's hope.

But, just after seeing that update I got the news that my coworker passed away this morning. I knew she was sick with it, but she felt well enough to work from home last week. I had a long call with her on Wednesday and, while she sounded like crap, she said she was doing okay. I had no idea that she was even hospitalized over the weekend. Now she's gone.

I'm f***ing over this.

I think the experts already have a solid understanding on how to treat COVID patients, but feel free to email the Mayo Clinic, CDC, WHO, or your local hospital what your recommendation is on how they should do their job. I'm sure your recommendation will be taken seriously.

The best way to keep people from getting sick and possibly dying is for them to get vaccinated. Not sure why you don't want that other than some backwoods idea of freedom and gubment.

Hoping your buddy pulls thru and really sorry to hear about your coworker. Yeah I’m beyond done with this damn virus.

I don’t know, Im not promoting the use of HCQ, but the amount of negative press it received regarding “safety” early on was also media driven misinformation. For instance, this is a literature review of 86 articles of case reports and series in the decades of use prior to 2017. If found 127 patients with cardiac side effects from HCQ.

Cardiac Complications Attributed to Chloroquine and Hydroxychloroquine: A Systematic Review of the Literature - PubMed

That was bonkers, too. They hand that stuff out like candy for malaria prophylaxis around the world. I've prescribed it numerous times for kids traveling or doing mission work.

90% protection from even getting it is good enough for me. I face about a dozen different things more likely to kill me on the daily. No idea why this specific risk has people bugging out. I wouldnt mind at all except they want to tell me which minuscule risk I should do something about.

Condolences for the loss of your co worker and prayers for your classmate to recover.

Any idea of your co worker's vax status or which vax they took (if any)?

It's everywhere brah

These particular "vaccines" are brand new and have 8 months of track record. They don't prevent C-19, but they do appear to slightly improve symptoms. But as I've shown on many occasions, not enough of a statistical difference to push people over to get vaccinated.
