Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Absolutely stunning.
Funeral directors being asked by denialists to not mention Covid in obits, death notices, and even official death certificates as a cause of death in order to not "give credence to Covid."

In other news, old people die and fat people have health problems. If they were young, or thin, statistics say they would not have "died from COVID".

Senior FDA Officials to Step Down Over Disagreement with White House on booster shots

Two Food and Drug Administration senior officials are reportedly stepping down from their posts over a disagreement with the White House on the administration of booster shots.

In a statement to CNBC, the FDA said that Marion Gruber, director of the agency’s Office of Vaccines Research and Review, and her deputy director, Phil Krause, will leave in October and November, respectively.

The duo was reportedly frustrated that the CDC and Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) was spearheading decisions that should be the responsibility of the FDA, the biotech news outlet Endpoint News reported, citing a former senior FDA leader as its source.

The source said that Gruber and Krause finally decided to step down after the Biden administration went ahead with a booster program starting the week of September 20 – without FDA approval.

New South African COVID-19 strain is the most mutated one yet: report

A COVID-19 variant first detected in South Africa could be more infectious than other mutations — and may have the potential of being resistant to vaccines, according to a report.

The C.1.2 strain has been linked to “increased transmissibility” and is said to have mutated the most from the original virus, which first emerged in the Chinese city of Wuhan, the Mirror reported.

The strain has a mutation rate of about 41.8 mutations per year, almost double the global mutation rate seen in any other existing variant of concern, according to experts at South Africa’s National Institute for Communicable Diseases and the KwaZulu-Natal Research Innovation and Sequencing Platform.

The sad thing is that these stories of AntiVax organizer and radio hosts who spread misinformation about COVID and end up dying from COVID is becoming way too common. It’s sad, but I feel sorry for the people they influenced with their misinformation. Maybe people will finally realize these jokers never cared about their health, it was about politics.

When will people realize that the vaccines are about profit and control and not about people’s health?

Well that could mean two things. Either the vaccines are working close to 100% or their effectiveness is around 25% because the CDC’s track record on COVID has been so abysmal that it can’t be what they stated.
It's also easy for them to skew data when they dont actively track vaxxed Covid cases.

They are already openly saying they are doctoring the info with that. So who knows what else they are doing that they havent said.

At least as of 8/2 guidelines they are recommending testing again in the vaccinated population. So hopefully the more recent data isn’t as skewed.

Update: Not COVID, LOL. What are the odds that my nanny's Mom pops positive, we all get sick at the same time, but we're not COVID?
Good news. Exact same thing happened to us a couple of weeks ago. Got clearly exposed and just happened to have cold symptoms 2 days later. Everybody got tested but nobody had it.

I think we all got COVID in my house. The nanny's Mom has it and the nanny has symptoms. 3 YO is asymptomatic. 7-month baby got it first in our group and has had cold symptoms but was clearly on the mend by day 3. My wife (she's getting tested today) has cold symptoms and I feel like I have minor allergies.
I hope you all get through it as easily as possible. ……I see that you did 😁

I'm still not able to determine exactly how, if at all, mild/mod non-hospitalized breakthrough cases are counted. The only mechanism I see possible would be for the states to cross-reference all reported cases with a vaccine registry database and, obviously, my faith that this is happening regularly and efficiently is extremely small. In addition, the frequency of at-home testing has now skyrocketed (stores here can't keep tests in stock), so those won't be reported, at all.

I want Ivermectin to succeed. I am anxiously awaiting the results of Japan's rollout documentation.

If I take ivermectin, it will be prescribed by a doctor and fulfilled by a pharmacist; I prefer having trained experts absorb the liability. The chuckles who are trying to absorb sheep dip through their skin and hide horse paste in their applesauce will have no one to blame but themselves when something goes sideways and won't be able to appropriately communicate doses to EMT or ER staff.
Aren't you vaxed by company that has no liability??

I’d bet it is Covid. I don’t know how many times I’ve heard or read that someone tests negative for it, and then a few days later tests positive.

If multiple people in the family got tested, then it's not likely that everyone is a false negative.
I wouldn’t bet on that. I know people where the entire family all got the same symptoms within the same time frame and only 1 person tested positive as well. And they definitely had Covid.

Amazing, arrested for traveling between states.

I mean, sort of. She can travel to Hawaii she was just trying to avoid both the vaccine and the 10-day quarantine and committed medical fraud. She had two legal options for traveling there.

Somebody on the other side could say she was arrested for being a public health risk but that's not really accurate either.

A few weeks ago I was feeling ill. Joint and muscle aches. Tested negative and waited 2 weeks to get 1st shot. That evening I had pretty severe joint and muscle aches. Just seemed odd the two events exhibited same symptoms
