Can you guys get this stupid RINO to shut up! Tennessee is finally first at something and some guy who acts like he's a doctor has to run his mouth. A laissez faire approach is the best way to address highly contagious and deadly virus.

So per the CDC, twice as many people have had COVID than estimated. That means the death rate is even lower. So currently officially there are 40 million cases of COVID since the pandemic started. By the CDC, that means 80 million people have had it. Deaths are currently at 647k.

Let’s see some math here. 647000/80000000= .0081 x 100= .81%. So the death rate is less than 1%.

None of that changes the burden on our hospitals and how that impacts others whose are dealing with other trauma and disease. Covid is stressing our health care system, which results in other issues even deaths.

Looks like hospitalizations continue to rapidly increase in Tennessee. Hopefully will start going down in the next week or two like seen in Arkansas and Florida. With Labor Day weekend here and more people gathering concerned that we may not see a decrease until end of the month.

the good news is that it looks like these new variants such as mu are no match for delta and once we get through this the worse hopefully has passed.

It’s time for everyone to live their lives again
Get vaccinated…..don’t…..wear a mask……don’t……make a decision and let’s move on.
