Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

If I am in Asia and I come down with it... I want something to knock it down. But you're right, hopefully the antibodies will keep it at bay. Although the Japanese Prime Minister (I think) just approved it for use throughout the country. The tide is starting to turn toward common sense... I hope.
Has your airline mandated the jab?

BTW, as I told @Orangeslice13 a few days ago, getting a prescription written is half the battle. Getting a pharmacist to fill it is something else.

Ah ok got it. Based on your work was wondering if that was it. Plus it probably helps with bad sushi too 😂

No, but those that don't get it and are on the company health plan are being fined. I believe that a significant number will quit (or get fired) if they try to mandate it.

It took over 2 weeks to get mine filled.

At some point, even you have to begin to ask yourself why is there such a big media campaign against Ivermectin. I can't think of the media attacking anything like this since Big Tobacco.
I remember the exact sam arguments about hydroxychloroquine. Even people swearing by studies. Now none of that is mentioned. And the same people who purported that are now promoting this. I am all for whatever works.

What you have to ask yourself is why, in the most educated and best funded hospitals in the world, are our doctors not promoting it. Do you believe thousands of doctors are **** people? Don't want what's best. Or that they are stupid? Incapable of reading the same studies you do. You understand them better?

I was a patient with the Cleveland Clinic hospital in January. They kept me from going septic and got me home in record time; their protocols got me out in days instead of a week or more. My wound care, primary care, cardiologist, all Cleveland Clinic.

I could be in wound care for the rest of my life, bleeding money as fast as blood from my leg, a cash cow to some doctor, but they found and treated the underlying issue and I'm as close to healed as ever before.

I asked my wound care doc - we knew each other best as we saw each other weekly - why we weren't hearing about the #2 hospital in the country prescribing all the buzzword meds like hcq and ivermectin. She said when the CC, Mayo Clinic, and Johns Hopkins start prescribing it, that means there's enough data to prove that it will work across the greatest number of patients with the least amount of side effects and contraindications.

I have serious doubts that hospitals that devote significant parts of their funding to research into new therapies would just sit on their hands and say "Yeah, we'll wait this one out." I have serious disbelief that my team of doctors would violate their medical ethics for the sake of some financial payoff or Government nod.

You have an unhealthy trust in government and Big Pharma.

There are far too many examples of people using HCQ and Ivermectin successfully. Far too many countries that are showing success with it. And it is an FDA approved item that has a longer track record of lob term side effects than any of these new vaccines.

Meta-analyses based on 18 randomized controlled treatment trials of ivermectin in COVID-19 have found large, statistically significant reductions in mortality, time to clinical recovery, and time to viral clearance. Furthermore, results from numerous controlled prophylaxis trials report significantly reduced risks of contracting COVID-19 with the regular use of ivermectin. Finally, the many examples of ivermectin distribution campaigns leading to rapid population-wide decreases in morbidity and mortality indicate that an oral agent effective in all phases of COVID-19 has been identified.

I trust neither government nor big pharma, having been screwed over by both repeatedly

I do trust the specific individuals who have worked to save my leg and my life and with whom I have developed an ongoing relationship. This includes being prescribed medicine off-label (colchicine for gout, for example) and being subjected to novel and experimental medical procedures and products (I volunteered to be part of a test flight for Vash with Forrest General Hospital).

I don't know how anyone could vote for either trainwreck. The Dems platform is "We're not Republicans" and the Republican platform is "We're not Democrats."

I need something substantial to sink my teeth into.
We need to abolish the parties and have individuals run on their own platform. It’ll never happen though. Since the extremists seem to have more control than ever on both sides maybe a moderate party comprising of centrists from both parties will form. That’s more likely than the abolishment of the parties. I know there’s already independents, Libertarians, etc. but it would have to be a conscious and coordinated effort from those in DC to do something different and would require significant numbers from both sides.
