How are you feeling?

I'm ready to go to a pulmonologist. I am still constantly out of breath and leaning on my rescue inhaler. I have been pushing walking distance up and walking frequently but I'm not making any progress in endurance despite my O2 staying above 96. Something just doesn't feel right

Any heaviness in the lower sternum area during inhalation?

How the CDC Bought YOUR Data to enforce lockdown: Health agency paid firm $420,000 to Track Tens of Millions of Cell Phones and see who went to schools and churches in the pandemic

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention paid for location data harvested from millions of cell phones to track compliance with COVID-19 lockdown measures, according to a new report.

The CDC paid $420,000 for a year of access to the cell phone location data from the data brokerage SafeGraph, according to documents reported by Vice News on Tuesday.

Trust your intuition on it.

Doesn’t add up. Vaccines are available. They really don’t even care about their people anyway. It kills a small percentage of old people.

What am I missing. Why do they continue to do this?
I wish I had saved the post but I saw a Chinese expat explain that the CCP government presents itself as infallible, and is seen that way among most of the Chinese public. And that’s very important culturally. Basically he said that the central government admitting to the public that their zero covid strategy was wrong and a total failure now would be unprecedented in CCP history. They feel that it would threaten their grip on power to admit failure. I think the opposite and it would push the citizens closer to unrest. But I’m not educated on Chinese culture so I’m probably totally wrong. Either way I’m glad they are doing it. They are torpedoing all the extra economic gains they made over the West since covid began.

When did this thing begin in China? Remember when it got so bad there that like 2,000 out of 1.4 billion people died? Just in time for the hysteria to cross to the US, shut everything down, and make mail-in voting a necessity?

I don’t think China is torpedo their economy and central currency on the world stage for the US midterms.

Haha, I was semi- joking. However, if you think China wants to see a landslide conservative shift in our midterms and DeSantis, Trump, etc in office in 2.5 years, you're nuts.

Good call. I did read something similar to this in a WSJ piece. I remember that now.

That said, I don’t care if they torpedo themselves, but we aren’t at the point of not needing them. It is causing some great pain stateside. It will cost some people their businesses in the states.

I don’t know exactly how the majority are approaching this, but my company has manufacturing all over the world. And we are working double time to localize wherever possible. The problem is it takes a really long time and often adds significant cost.

Yea, that is why I was asking. Working in manufacturing, I cringe every time I hear about another shutdown. So many small manufacturers skating on thin ice I believe.

Dude...we are both in same field kinda. Inflation is gonna be unreal. I guess 15% now but with a gov that even denies its existence or laughs it off? I am worried badly

Anecdote from a co-woker that had to go to a weekend meeting this past week. The leadership of a Fortune 150 company mentioned buying a 757 or 767 cannot remember, and gutting to to fly components to and from China.
Now to me to me that seems so short term and speaks to if the supply chain is production or logistic. And BTW said to expect another 10% price increase, We just had one Monday!
