Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Update on my covid case:

I tested positive exactly one week ago. Technically I'm at day 10. I feel great...just slightly congested...but I do have very little smell/taste although I think that's improving. Every beer tastes like a Coors Light right now but I could taste the steak on my salad last night and I could smell the morning paper. All in all I had 48 hrs of feeling like hell but the recovery has been swift, much to my amazement. I went back to work two days ago

Bolded is the scariest thing about covid that I've heard yet.

Anyone else here never diagnosed with Covid? I have no idea if I ever had it but so far I've never shown the common symptoms or test positive.

I've never been diagnosed with covid (I have refused to take any test) but I'm confident I have had it. I have always just felt it was foolish to take a test to figure out if I'm sick or not

It ain't wine but there's a big difference between good beer and cheap beer. And I'd just stay sober before I drank natty light.
I would much rather have a glass of wine, but I'll be damned if I will pay for a glass what I could pay for the entire bottle in the store. That's really the main reason I drink beer when I'm out with friends. Yep. I'm cheap. You only rent it anyway.

I'm not cheap at all but it still pisses my off that I'll have to pay $50 for a crappy bottle of wine tonight at dinner. I cook and love good food, so I realize this is what keeps restaurants afloat. Meals, in general, are not terribly overpriced at most restaurants.

I had the latest COVID variant last week (Got tested to confirm). Cold like symptoms and a moderate fever for four days, then a swift recovery. I've had worse colds honestly, but I did have the Delta variant last year which kicked my azz. I am guessing that due to a previous infection I had some immunity, and also these latest variants aren't as strong.

Impossible. There are bodies everywhere. Get boosted you fool

I have always had questions about the use of Remdeziver as the standard hospital treatment. Fauci deemed Remdesivir as "safe and effective" based on an experimental trial in Africa during an Ebola outbreak. This study raises even more questions as it clearly shows Remdesivir is not a safe treatment.

No surprise

Most Parents Are Saying No to Covid-19 Vaccines for Toddlers

Parents are having their say about the Covid-19 vaccines for children under 5, and for most, the answer so far is no.

More than a month after the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommended shots for about 17.4 million children ages 6 months through 4 years, about 4% to 5% of them have received a shot, according to the most recent agency data and population estimates from the American Academy of Pediatrics.

By contrast, the vaccination rate for children 5 to 11 years reached about 18% a month after the CDC first recommended shots last November. The rate now stands at about 38%.

Interesting that it's this close to the chucklehead line of those supporting the current Clown in Chief.
