The federal government doled out thousands of dollars of COVID-19 relief funds to "happy ending" massage parlors, a Washington Free Beacon analysis found.

The Small Business Administration disbursed $117,000 to six massage parlors later busted for sex crimes, the Free Beacon found. At least $15,000 of those loans came from the agency’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan Advance program, which does not require repayment. The agency said that because these payments were classified as loans, businesses could avoid the more stringent reporting "requirements that come with a U.S. government grant."

South Bend, Indiana’s Best Chinese Massage scored $98,000 in relief funds in June 2020. Two years later, police raided the parlor after undercover officers were offered sex. Police seized $88,538 in cash from owner James Belkiewitz, an amount roughly equal to the amount he borrowed from the government at reduced interest. Following the raid, workers told police that women were being held at the parlor against their will and forced to provide sexual services to customers.

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) led the Senate's first hearing on Wednesday to determine whether U.S. taxpayer-funded gain-of-function research contributed to the spread of COVID-19. The hearing was held by the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Subcommittee on Emerging Threats and Spending Oversight. Not one Democrat attended.

As of today, over a million Americans have died from COVID-19. Its origins should be investigated on a bipartisan basis. The fact that not one Democrat showed up for the hearing should raise red flags. One would think that at least one Democrat would be interested in the discoveries of the scientists who participated in this investigation.

This is where I'm so thankful to practice where I do. Life is literally 100% normal at my office, and it has been for a year and a half. Guess what? Not a single kid or staff member with any CV complications. If I had to deal with corporate/hospital system BS I would likely either a) have moved out of country to practice somewhere on an island that had bigger problems to worry about or b) figured out a different way to support my family and hobbies.

Update on my covid case:

I tested positive exactly one week ago. Technically I'm at day 10. I feel great...just slightly congested...but I do have very little smell/taste although I think that's improving. Every beer tastes like a Coors Light right now but I could taste the steak on my salad last night and I could smell the morning paper. All in all I had 48 hrs of feeling like hell but the recovery has been swift, much to my amazement. I went back to work two days ago

A man who threatened to kill Dr Anthony Fauci and members of his family by setting them on fire and torturing them in menacing emails has been sentenced to three years in federal prison.

Thomas Patrick Connally Jr, from Snowshoe, West Virginia, used an anonymous email account based in Switzerland to contact Dr Fauci, President Joe Biden's chief medical adviser, in response to his efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Court records showed another email that said Fauci would be 'hunted, captured, tortured and killed', dubbing the 81-year-old a 'satanic freemason criminal.'

I had it in Dec of 2020. Felt like a mild case of the flu until I lost my senses of smell/taste. Then the wife and I rid the house of all the questionable wine
