Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

Anybody want to dive into this data?

41% of recent COVID deaths among fully vaccinated and boosted individuals -

Almost half of deaths are folks with 4 damn shots?

So using the proportions based on vax status vs proportions of deaths:

Less than fully vaxed are overrepresented in the deaths (20.6% in the category; 33% of deaths)
Fully vaxed but not boosted are overrepresented in the deaths (20.9% in the category; 26% of deaths)
Fully vaxed and boosted are underrepresented in the deaths (58.5% in the category; 41% of deaths)

Still not great results

Almost identical with hospitalizations - slightly higher rate than deaths for the fully vaxed and boosted group.

using the population figures in the article it appears the less than full vaxed group had a 1.84x rate of death compared to the fully vaxed and boosted. (33/630000 vs 36/1424581)

again - not a great endorsement.

From the article you linked:

There is no data category for people with zero COVID-19 vaccine doses.
The data proves the majority of COVID deaths are among people fully vaccinated and boosted.

Surprise, surprise.

They are lumped in the group of less than fully vaccinated.

It’s an interesting way to muddy the waters. There really should be 3 categories: fully vaccinated, not fully vaccinated, or unvaccinated.

And we all know that if the data showed that unvaccinated are still getting hit way harder then the vaccinated it would definitely be separated and spelled out. 🙄 All we want is the truth and nothing but the truth.

I'm pleased to report that most of my taste/smell is back. I'm still under 2 weeks since my first symptom. The recovery has been swift. All I got now is slight congestion and a slightly croaky voice.
You are lucky, it took me about 3 months to get taste and smell back.

All I had was the worst sinus infection ever.....literally hemorrhaging. The girl doing the test had A LOT of fun with that. 3 days it was done, just couldn't taste or smell.
Only my initial infection knocked me down at all. Tired and achy for 4-5 days. My Omicron case was like a day and a half of runny nose and congestion.

As I've said before, the loss of smell remains a blessing in my line of work.

Karl Lauterbach reveals a new update for the Corona warning app. Different colors give different rights in the future. This system already exists in China.

Federal Health Minister Karl Lauterbach defends his controversial corona plans for the fall. There is criticism above all of the plan to exempt only newly vaccinated people from the mask requirement. This would also put people who have already been vaccinated three or four times at the present time However, Lauterbach does not believe that people will be vaccinated every three months from autumn onwards in order to be exempted from the mask requirement. He writes that the idea is "absurd". And further: "No doctor does that, no one wants that."

Lauterbach sticks to his plan, defends the new Infection Protection Act and affirms: “If vaccines that protect against infection are available in the fall, they should also be of benefit to those who have been vaccinated. You can not do without a mask in the interior in the fall. An exception would be justifiable for those who have just been vaccinated.”

However, if , "we would change the rule and close the exception," Lauterbach announced. A "general mask requirement in the interior or test would then be a consequence". The Minister of Health had previously said about the mask exemption for newly vaccinated people: "That will certainly be an incentive for one or the other to think about whether they would like to be vaccinated."

The system with different colors already exists in China. So-called “Health Code” apps play a crucial role here. The apps create movement profiles and display the state of health. Depending on the color, the users then have different rights. A green code allows free movement, orange and red mean quarantine for up to two weeks. This short presentation is on of the best you could ever get on the topic of masks, brought to you by a person with 45y experience in worker health & safety.
Not only do masks not work to protect people from respiratory illnesses, they can never work. He explains why.
Worse, there’s a 70+ year old hierarchy of controls against respiratory hazards. Masks do not even appear on this hierarchy. Not even in worst place.
THEY ARE SPLASHGUARDS, NOT AIR FILTERS.
They’ve never been used as filters. That’s not what they are, or do. They prevent splashes of biological fluids from entering the mouth or nose of the wearer.

Everything you wanted to know about masks and COVID and were not too afraid to ask.

Funny thing is that those in the medical field were already taught that. . . . Until the science "changed" in 2020.

I personally did the demolition on my bathroom i remodeled. I got tired of the all the stuff I would have to blow out of my nose using a non N95 mask while working. So I purchased some N95. Still had the same issue afterwards.

I am no scientist but I believe particle size of a virus is much smaller than dust from wood, plaster, drywall, etc.
