Very few companies actually have a vax requirement for employment. Many had to prepare when the govt was floating the idea but never implemented it
Our nearest major hospital is offering nurses 50k sign on bonus with successful completion of a minimum 2 year contract. Not the case in healthcare. The government screwed that industry up so bad. Don’t complain about high healthcare costs in the future
So requiring a medical procedure that is a permanent alteration of your immune system is ok as a condition of employment? I think that’s an absurd argument whether it’s legal or not.Considering you arent required to work at specific locations you dont have an argument. You arent required to work at all. Especially during Covid where the government doubled unemployment payments.
I remain unvaxxed my last job pushed, and I said no. They kept pushing and I said I would quit. They stopped pushing.
When I got my new job in inquired about their history with the vax. They never had a requirement but did encourage it. Never asked my status.
It’s not confusing. You want to be able to discriminate based on anything. But the current laws prevent you from being able to do that. And you want to be able to use that same government law to be open to allow you to be able to discriminate based on shot status. Not confusing at all.I understand and when asked i have repeatedly said I believe you should be able to. I'm not discussing current law. How is this so confusing for you?
It’s kinda entertaining to watch some people trying to defend a position that was backed by “science “ , when shown that “science “ was inaccurate, shift the argument to “well employers have the right “. No one has a right to require someone else to permanently alter their own immune system for employment.
If the person agrees to it.So requiring a medical procedure that is a permanent alteration of your immune system is ok as a condition of employment? I think that’s an absurd argument whether it’s legal or not.

Quoted it again for you. No mention of long term safety data that you're now trying to injectThe shots for kindergarten all have long term safety data. That is THE detail. Try again
Very reasonable position. I agree. If the person agrees to it.
I am completely against the vax. But if it was down to me getting the vax or not getting some life saving treatment I am probably getting the vax. Or donating a kidney to my son.
You pick your own battles. Some people wanted the vax. Some didnt. Both are ok. Some were ok with getting the vax under certain circumstances, others arent that's ok. But it comes down to a personal choice based on your own circumstances. Some top down one size fits all response is never good.
